Growing up I was labeled as crazy or out of my mind , everywhere I went I couldn't fit in , I'm more at peace alone than in crowds . I have no friends, every time I saw ghosts or lost souls my body shuts down into temporary paralysis but my brain is high in gear and awake .

I had an out of body experience after I hit a 91% THC dab...I was sitting in the back of my friend's car and the next thing I know, my vision shoots up into the sky and I hear a static sound and some background commentary as if it was coming from a badly tuned old radio then I was back in my body...It was amazing
i think adding a longer pause or some sort of noise between stories would be helpful. there were a few times i thought it was the same story continuing, but a new one had started.
That's weird, usually he does have a sound between the stories. I'd say 80% of his narrations I've heard do. Maybe it's something he started putting in his videos, so his older one's just don't have it.

Years ago when I was 14 years old, I came home, from a friend’s house and quickly laid down to sleep. And as I just hit the pillow with my head, all so the sudden, I felt myself spinning, up towards the ceiling and total weightlessness! I was so scared I was going to hit the ceiling and than all of the sudden, I’m back in my body. Craziest feeling ever! It was quick , but slow. Can’t explain it. It happen again a few years ago, but really quick this time and the same weightlessness feel came over me! Next time I’m going to just let it go and be mindful to get back into my body.

I have lucid dreams since I was a child, and I thought this is normal until I had an OBE experience through a lucid dream and I read more articles on the topic. I got scared a lot because my brain gave me a very clear sign that this dream will be different, just before OBE unfolding. Something like 'pixelization of my mental projections' happened while I was in my hypnagogic state. I thought 'oh my God I m dying', and "maybe I have brain damage". But I calmed myself down, I knew I was sleeping and I decided to surrender to this strange experience, also I had a high level of curiosity of what will follow. So I became the observer (just vision) of my empty body totally unattached from it (no memory, no feelings, no familiarity). I was observing a body I didn't know it was mine. I didn't feel fear or anything while observing it and seeing all the body's details. It looked empty, I cannot say dead because it wasn't scary or disgusting. I was ready to fly away - there was a very interesting energetic field on the other side of the mat sky, all were there, was the field of the infinite possibilities - when I started feeling deep compassion and pity about the unknown body. I started to transfer it to a safer place (from the veranda to the inner space of an unknown apartment). Only then came the thought, 'Does this body belongs to me? Why am I here? If the body is mine, then who's transferring me?' I tried hard to move the vision from the body to the hands that were carrying it and see what's going on. What I saw was a glimpse of luminescent transparent energetic flow instead of forehands, just for some seconds. Because at the same time, more and more, the weight of the body was becoming unbearable, hands started losing their power and very awkward and intense metal sounds were dominating creating a kind of sound and motion panic. The body fell heavily on the floor with an awful sound and I returned simultaneously in my awake state. Seeking answers I dug the web and found similarities in a story shared in a video documentary of Monroe Institute. Definitely, my life changed for the better after this experience. Anyone with a similar experience?
I had these dreams as a kid floating out of my body and exploring, went to remote places in the world and the top of a mountain I remember, as soon as I felt fear I got "pulled back" into my body. I wish I still had those dreams they were cool
When I was about 11 I was very sick and had a very high temperature and once woke up 'feeling' I was outside the window. As soon as I 'noticed' this I felt as if I was moving at high speed through the window back to my actual self lying in bed. It was absolutely terrifying - I never felt this way again for which I am truly grateful. If that was an OBE then I wouldn't want to do it again ever.

Had a similar experience as the first one. Three months ago ish, woke up at 3am ish, closed my eyes and had vivid closed eyes imagery of a tree on the corner of an empty, windy intersection. Out of no where had a sensation of somehwat of a rush/heart racing sensation, followed by a floating sensation. Don't know how but I woke up floating outside my body, bouncing off walls/ceiling. Would turn to look at my physical body and would be suddenly jolted back before I could see myself. Happened probably 4 times that morning. The final time I was successful in floating outside my roof, was suddenly shot upwards past the pine trees and I could vividly remember seeing my mobile home and the tree tops and thinking "what's that?" because I had never seen it from that view. Fell asleep when I got higher up. Everything looked like it was a super full moon type of lighting. Almost a soft dark blue light filter on the world. You feel completely conscious, it feels amazing. I've been trying every chance I get for a few weeks now, have not been able to replicate it. I'm hoping tonight I will induce another experience. Miraculous to me that we have this ability as humans. Maybe it is a mind trick, but this experience convinced me 99% we aren't just bodies. Won't know for sure until I die but it really changed how I think or feel about life.
I had four out of body experiences at age 13-14. I was not sick nor did I die I was in my bed halls asleep I presume. My grandmother gave me a book about it after I told her about it. The man who wrote it gave instructions and said that it was possible to travel anywhere but I was not able to repeat the OBE but wasn’t in that same room where the OBEs has occurred

actually scientists believe that fifth dimensional beings can go back in time or in future. and some people believe that Astral plane (spirit realm) exists in fifth dimension so if someones who does Astral projection frequently and understands the mechanism of Astral plane can do time travel on command. Ash2ashesxo I like going back to my childhood home when I’m lucid dreaming I know it’s not true astral projection but I only started having lucid dreams when I dabbled in astral projection I did project a few times and I could barely see or move and it only lasted a few seconds before I started having a lucid dream Now I go straight to lucid dreaming there’s no in between

The black-void that was mentioned, was what I've always feared death would be like, the awareness of being trapped in the blackness....consciously aware but stuck, not knowing if you're bodies already been disposed of, or whether or not you're gonna be able to get out of there to at least be an observer back in the world, wow what a nightmare that must be....Lets hope its only one aspect of many....

Ive had experiences something like this where i was abll to hear and see around me but i couldnt move. I could see my dogs walking around , hear my husband snore but icouldnt move. Some nights i have had "dreams " I was flying around . I could see everything in detail around . I felt weigtless and free. I dont know what it is but I know i get the best sleep those nights. It may be a deeper state of sleep . I dont sleep well and am normally a very light sleeper. I cant and dont try to explain it.

I had the sleep paralysis but went with it and lifted up to my ceiling. And then I felt totally at peace. I went back down into my body opened my eyes and felt waves going through my body. I thought I must be dreaming until I got up and still had the feeling while having a drink.

And if we "can" touch objects, then why can't we move them or other people to let them know or get their attention?. A long time ago when I was around the age 10-14, through those years I would go to sleep and I would have these dreams where I could fly around as if I was there. I really could go anywhere but at the same time it kinda freaked me out. So in all honesty I prayed for it to go away and it did. Now that I am older, I look back and wish I could of seen it as a gift and not a burden. Tell this day I have not had anymore of these experiences.
These are interesting. I have had experiences where I have thought I was dreaming this stuff but had inexplainable things happen. I have wondered for years, and always loved it when I could fly around in my dreams. I have also been clinically dead twice, with similar experiences but also very different.
Never knew this till today. OBE stands for 😭 I literally floated up to the ceiling , felt like I floated out of my body and I screamed I’m not ready! And prayed! Then felt myself back to my body, and I was crying, had to call for help and my sugar level was low 50s.. my blood pressure has been dropping recently as well. Was 60s/40s couple of days ago. I've had a half body experience. My legs were still in but my upper half was out. I could turn and see myself still lying in bed. I kinda freaked cause at that time I didn't know what was happening. I remember saying, "Oh God, please help me!" And the very moment I said that, I felt a hand press down on my head and I flew back into my body. It was a rush to say the least. I told my aunt about it the next day and she smiled and said I had an OBE and that she had them every night lol. I haven't had one since and this happened about 10 or so years ago.
I'm relatively new to astral travel. A few nights ago, I began the process of projecting as I had been for the last week. I knew about the vibrations, and how they varied from person to person, but I think I experienced something else entirely. I saw a bright light behind my eyes as I concentrated and suddenly (what I assume to be my soul) felt as though it was twisting and rolling beneath my skin. My entire body was tingling. It felt like my soul was trying to detach itself from my body, but I went into a panic and stopped the process. For the rest of the night I felt hyperaware of my surroundings. My arms continued to tingle while my gut felt like it was full of rocks until I fell asleep. The following morning I was still very aware of everything that had happened--along with this strange feeling of foreboding. When I left to go to school, a man approached me at the gas station. The feeling in my gut was amplified after that. It lasted through the school day until I left. When I got in my car and started to pull out of my parking space, my car died. I panicked, restarted my car, and it was fine. After that, the feeling went away. I have no idea what happened to me, or why I was suddenly so in tune. Has anyone experienced something similar after attempting astral travel? I've tried to research the rolling, tearing feeling but to no avail. I feel like it might be something else entirely.

A few months ago i had a dream that was both a preminition and a lucid dream. I was at my neighbors house, and i fell asleep on her couch. I dreamed i was at a mill, wich i went to a few weeks ago with the same people as in the dream. But when i was in the dream the mill was in another dream at the same dream. When i woke up from that dream i couldnt stop laughing as if i was high. But i walked over to my neighbor who was cooking. I saw myself sleeping and tried to tell my neighbor i was sleeping but i couldnt get her attention. She was cutting carrots in the dream and when i woke up, she was still cutting carrotts. I remember feeling terrified after i woke up

i've always wanted to experience astral projection. and i always looked up tips to improve my chances of experiencing it. so i did the simple trick of pinching your arm and feeling the slight pain to to remind myself i was awake. one time about 2 years ago i did this.. and i found myself feeling no pain and i became aware that i was asleep. but i saw nothing. it felt like i was either floating or sitting with my legs crossed like a school kid would on the floor. but had no weight and i was in the void or simple had my eyes shut. this lasted about ten second then i woke up. i was happy because i felt like i was close to astral projection. and now when i heard that story of that similar outcome i got goosebumps through out my whole body and it was intense. and now i kind of fear doing it again
That feeling of a million ants crawling all over your skin is a near death experience brother. I get them all the time I meditate, so I started forwarding all my meditation sessions with a prayer for God's blessings and protection and that made a beautiful difference. Didn't frighten me anymore.
I had an OBE when I was 18. I had laid down for a nap and woke up staring at the ceiling only a few feet away. I turned my head to my left and could see the top of my lamp & dresser with my body laying on the bed below me. At first I though I was dying, but I wasn’t going anywhere, I was just suspended there in space and I panicked, wiggled back & forth until I woke up in my body, almost. My right arm was still floating above my arm below, I remember thinking, “oh no, I’m going to have to go around with my arm outside my arm! how am I going to explain this! People are going to think I’m crazy, maybe I am crazy!”. I eventually willed my arm back into place, got up very shaken and splashed cold water on my face. I worked at a small hospital so when I saw a group of doctors & nurses sitting in the break room I told them about the experience and asked them what happened. They all got up and left without an explanation, then the X-Ray technician who overheard chimed in and said, “I know what happened and he proceeded to tell me about astral projection and soul travel. He gave me a book called, “In My Soul I Am Free” by Brad Steiger. He also belonged to a new-age group that specialized in Soul Travel, which I joined when I married him. I started doing spiritual exercises to initiate a spiritual experience (astral travel), but was never able to initiate one on my own. I did have a couple more OBE’s, one that was more of a NDE from food poisoning, but both were spontaneous. I’m no longer with that group or that husband. It did leave me with a firm knowledge of my existence beyond space, matter & time, which means I am an eternal being.

I've had several out of body experiences. The one that most was cool when I was laying down napping on my futon on my stomach. I heard my mom call me and I quickly and pushed up to get up. As I did this with out knowing I push out of my body. Once I realized what happen (seconds later) I jumped in my body again. Most of my obe occurred when I was nearly asleep napping.
i recently died in my dream but never have i saw my own self in a dream but in a recent one i saw my reflection in a window as i floated up i literaly felt myself slowly floating up but i was dead in my reflection and i wasnt me though i really panicked and started flaping my arms to go back down the sense of peace and being so light in the air i felt really scared all of a sudden! then i woke up i can still picture the woman who was dead who was me in my reflection it was like if i carried on letting go i knew id never wake up i went back down then woke up what would that be classed as?? also ive dreampt of things thats happened i possibly have had noway of knowing my best friend was terrified one night iv never saw someone look so scared she wouldnt even let me walk her home that night i was telling her about one.. she couldnt wait to get away from me she had tears running down her face she seemed petrified from what i told her id dreamed of creepy thing is her brother got found dead years after that day i told her about that dream that day 16 months after he went missing got found right by there no1 still knows how he died as his body was decomposed when they found him :( it was such a random place aswell freaked us out when i remembered about that dream :( i felt stupid reminding her at such a bad time but thought no thats too creepy.. i was addiment in the end i had some sort of phycic powers but i stopped looking into it all as i thought i was going mad but how i think did i dream of certain things?? but when you feel its real and you dont see yourself as crazy what is it exactly if anyone took their time to read my comment please dont mock me im not the best at wording things but would love it if you have answers for me as im getting back into this stuff!! When you start having priorities, the vivid dreams stop coming. Your brain has to be consciously at ease when you go sleep. This is why we only have these AMAZING dreams as a kid because we had nothing to worry about then.
I've had a few instances in the past where I'd have the horrible sensation of falling really fast, and then wake up suddenly. Could this be the early stage of an OBE that was involuntary? I hadn't even heard of it back then
Ohh my god, that weirds me out so much. I had something happening to me at night and i asked my friend which astral projected naturally every night since she was a kid. She tried and also had her friend try and they both said the same thing. Like the feeling of something whooshing, pushing them away and they couldn't get to me. I just wanted them to see what was messing with me at night.
I enjoyed flying dreams. I could just lift myself up off the ground and not be confined by the forces of gravity and I could levitate and fly without fear of falling. The fear of falling was not there whatsoever in my subconscious mind. Whenever I'm flying, I can fly through the sky and the clouds, I could bank left and bank right at extreme angles and I can fly straight up into the air at tremendous speeds and my entire body can vertically spiral like a corkscrew going upwards, and whenever I could run I could run 120 to 220 mph and that's on a dead run! I wish I could have more of these flying dreams again and I do miss them!
I don't 'Partake', but I had a similar experience as well. I could see a group of 3 dressed like they were from the 1800's. Talking amongst themselves. I felt like they were talking about me, but I couldn't make out what they were saying. Like you, it was like 'many' voices... It sounded like they all were talking at once. It was freaky, to say the least!! It was VERY real!! I'll 'never' forget it and will 'always' wonder what it was all about...
Once I had an OBE where I was floating about outside dimensions somewhere in space - when I was about to 'wake up' I had to first try to remember not where, but *when* I came from, in order to get back to my body- I thought that was rather interesting.. :)
I am sure you hear this all the time, but your voice is silken! It is like audio velvet. I listen to a lot of the different scary story narrators on youtube, I find the stories really enjoyable, both for the thrills and how horrible some of them can be. I just listened to a compilation you and many others made together, and as much as I enjoy/subscribe to most of the others, your narration stood out. Your voice adds a lot to the scary atmosphere, as it is soothing, like quiet moments in a horror film they give you a false sense of security and the contrast of that to the horror you are suddenly presented with just makes the scary thing that much worse. You are a master of tension and suspense in your delivery.
I started researching astral projection a few years back and despite my best concerted efforts I could never induce it upon myself. Instead, it seems to happen spontaneously ever since I first heard about it. I always have the same experience though. I feel (and hear) powerful vibrations so I try to will myself further into the experience but I'm always held back by an intense fear. Fear of what? I don't know. No matter how much I try to control it I can't control the fear and eventually the vibrations stop happening and it's over. I so badly want to experience the next stage of it but this inexplicable fear always holds me back.
I once could see myself asleep in bed. I was in the very far corner of my room above my wardrobe and was just watching myself sleep. This was around the time I was having bouts of sleep paralysis.
I have had many OOBE, they're hard to explain. I always have them when I catch myself sleeping. My mind is conscious and aware. My whole body has the feeling like your arm when you sleep on it. Like the first story, my head is always anchored, and the hardest to detach. I refrained from trying to get out completely because there was so much pressure. Another thing is that you can see "through your eyelids" many times I have been able to see my sleeping body from another perspective other than my sleeping position, and when I get back in my body and awake it's always in the position I saw it in. Crazy trippy stuff.

Oh my God. The person who recounted their experience while they were in the hospital is so much similar to my dad's own event. My dad died in the recovery room of a hospital after having a knee replacement (which in itself is definitely not something you'd relate with death, but it happened). He stopped breathing for 5 minutes. How he is still alive.... I don't know, but he's still here, and that's all that matters to me. He was only 42 or 43 years old at the time, incase anyone is wondering. The story might be somewhat long for a post here, but if anyone wants to know what he told me, I'd be happy to tell you. I expect most people won't believe it, but my father has been my best friend since I was a teenager, and I know that he would never make up something that was based around his own death. So to anyone that might send me a message wanting to hear the story, if you don't think it's true after hearing it and want me to know your opinion, that's fine as long as you state your opinion in a mature and respectful way, as I will not disrespect your opinion.

I had one when I was in a major car accident. I felt the car rolling, and a rapid upward jerk, and I looked down at my mangled car. I saw myself passed out, and my best friend bleeding in the passenger’s seat. Then the next thing I remember was the jaws of life. It’s a weird feeling. Idk how to explain what happened. I don’t really believe in souls or the astral plane, though I won’t say these things absolutely don’t exist. I just don’t really know, and there’s no way to really prove their existence. Re: the part where he's in the back seat of the car & awake having a OBE. I've had 3 OBE's while awake, this happens while I'm in conversation with someone. Each time I'm a little further behind & slightly to the left (while I'm talking) oops ... this is me back here, who's doing the talking? Listening to me (or who ever) talking I realize the ultimate truth spoken so I completely trust their view. Next time I will attempt to fly through the roof to find out how far I can go during these events. I've heard of a few others having awake OBE's but they always seem to be due to very traumatic situations. Growing up I was labeled as crazy or out of my mind , everywhere I went I couldn't fit in , I'm more at peace alone than in crowds . I have no friends, every time I saw ghosts or lost souls my body shuts down into temporary paralysis but my brain is high in gear and awake .

Years ago when I was 14 years old, I came home, from a friend’s house and quickly laid down to sleep. And as I just hit the pillow with my head, all so the sudden, I felt myself spinning, up towards the ceiling and total weightlessness! I was so scared I was going to hit the ceiling and than all of the sudden, I’m back in my body. Craziest feeling ever! It was quick , but slow. Can’t explain it. It happen again a few years ago, but really quick this time and the same weightlessness feel came over me! Next time I’m going to just let it go and be mindful to get back into my body.

I have lucid dreams since I was a child, and I thought this is normal until I had an OBE experience through a lucid dream and I read more articles on the topic. I got scared a lot because my brain gave me a very clear sign that this dream will be different, just before OBE unfolding. Something like 'pixelization of my mental projections' happened while I was in my hypnagogic state. I thought 'oh my God I m dying', and "maybe I have brain damage". But I calmed myself down, I knew I was sleeping and I decided to surrender to this strange experience, also I had a high level of curiosity of what will follow. So I became the observer (just vision) of my empty body totally unattached from it (no memory, no feelings, no familiarity). I was observing a body I didn't know it was mine. I didn't feel fear or anything while observing it and seeing all the body's details. It looked empty, I cannot say dead because it wasn't scary or disgusting. I was ready to fly away - there was a very interesting energetic field on the other side of the mat sky, all were there, was the field of the infinite possibilities - when I started feeling deep compassion and pity about the unknown body. I started to transfer it to a safer place (from the veranda to the inner space of an unknown apartment). Only then came the thought, 'Does this body belongs to me? Why am I here? If the body is mine, then who's transferring me?' I tried hard to move the vision from the body to the hands that were carrying it and see what's going on. What I saw was a glimpse of luminescent transparent energetic flow instead of forehands, just for some seconds. Because at the same time, more and more, the weight of the body was becoming unbearable, hands started losing their power and very awkward and intense metal sounds were dominating creating a kind of sound and motion panic. The body fell heavily on the floor with an awful sound and I returned simultaneously in my awake state. Seeking answers I dug the web and found similarities in a story shared in a video documentary of Monroe Institute. Definitely, my life changed for the better after this experience. Anyone with a similar experience?
I had these dreams as a kid floating out of my body and exploring, went to remote places in the world and the top of a mountain I remember, as soon as I felt fear I got "pulled back" into my body.

When I was about 11 I was very sick and had a very high temperature and once woke up 'feeling' I was outside the window. As soon as I 'noticed' this I felt as if I was moving at high speed through the window back to my actual self lying in bed. It was absolutely terrifying - I never felt this way again for which I am truly grateful. If that was an OBE then I wouldn't want to do it again ever.

Had a similar experience as the first one. Three months ago ish, woke up at 3am ish, closed my eyes and had vivid closed eyes imagery of a tree on the corner of an empty, windy intersection. Out of no where had a sensation of somehwat of a rush/heart racing sensation, followed by a floating sensation. Don't know how but I woke up floating outside my body, bouncing off walls/ceiling. Would turn to look at my physical body and would be suddenly jolted back before I could see myself. Happened probably 4 times that morning. The final time I was successful in floating outside my roof, was suddenly shot upwards past the pine trees and I could vividly remember seeing my mobile home and the tree tops and thinking "what's that?" because I had never seen it from that view. Fell asleep when I got higher up. Everything looked like it was a super full moon type of lighting. Almost a soft dark blue light filter on the world. You feel completely conscious, it feels amazing. I've been trying every chance I get for a few weeks now, have not been able to replicate it. I'm hoping tonight I will induce another experience. Miraculous to me that we have this ability as humans. Maybe it is a mind trick, but this experience convinced me 99% we aren't just bodies. Won't know for sure until I die but it really changed how I think or feel about life.
I had four out of body experiences at age 13-14. I was not sick nor did I die I was in my bed halls asleep I presume. My grandmother gave me a book about it after I told her about it. The man who wrote it gave instructions and said that it was possible to travel anywhere but I was not able to repeat the OBE but wasn’t in that same room where the OBEs has occurred

I did project a few times and I could barely see or move and it only lasted a few seconds before I started having a lucid dream

There’s also audio hallucinations that sound like buzzing arcing pulsating hums and voices DONT PANIC they may be scary as hell but the sounds aren’t really there it’s nothing electrical malfunctioning in you’re room 😉😉
I did have voiced that claimed to be passed loved ones and I could communicate with them using my mind these are probably really them or demons 😖

How to do it (astral projection)
1. Go to bed lay on you’re back and stay still even if you’re uncomfortable and try to ignore and itching
2. RELAX as if you’re going to fall asleep but FOCUS on staying awake it’s kinda hard but after awhile you’re body will fall asleep and you’re mind will remain awake (that’s what sleep paralysis is)
3. Once the paralysis starts try relaxing further without panicking and soon u should start feeling vibrations remain relaxed and let them settle
4. At this point you’ve trained you’re body to go into this “state” and this is when the oh so lovely 😂 I mean TERRIFYING hallucinations will begin and you’ve basically fried you’re natural sleep process and given yourself a sleeping disorder
5. Well after 4 once you’re used to it and get a hang of the sensations once they come then slowly subside especially after the vibrations YOU’RE READY to project !!
6. Once the sensations have subsided and the paralysis lets up try getting up and open you’re eyes and do “reality checks” like looking at you’re reflection see if anything’s off in you’re surroundings or better yet see if u can push you’re hand through a window or try flying if you’re able to do these things CONGRATS! You’re astral projecting
To lucid dream it only works if u can remember you’re dreams keep a constant eye out for things that aren’t normal like being in an unusual place or past home you’ve moved from after awhile u should be able to distinguish between reality and dreams and when you’re in a dream and suddenly realize “hey I’m dreaming” well you’re officially LUCID dreaming it’s all fun from there think of stuff and it should instantly manifest and u can also visit lost loved ones
The black-void that was mentioned, was what I've always feared death would be like, the awareness of being trapped in the blackness....consciously aware but stuck, not knowing if you're bodies already been disposed of, or whether or not you're gonna be able to get out of there to at least be an observer back in the world, wow what a nightmare that must be....Lets hope its only one aspect of many....

Ive had experiences something like this where i was abll to hear and see around me but i couldnt move. I could see my dogs walking around , hear my husband snore but icouldnt move. Some nights i have had "dreams " I was flying around . I could see everything in detail around . I felt weigtless and free. I dont know what it is but I know i get the best sleep those nights. It may be a deeper state of sleep . I dont sleep well and am normally a very light sleeper. I cant and dont try to explain it.

I had the sleep paralysis but went with it and lifted up to my ceiling. And then I felt totally at peace. I went back down into my body opened my eyes and felt waves going through my body. I thought I must be dreaming until I got up and still had the feeling while having a drink.

And if we "can" touch objects, then why can't we move them or other people to let them know or get their attention?. A long time ago when I was around the age 10-14, through those years I would go to sleep and I would have these dreams where I could fly around as if I was there. I really could go anywhere but at the same time it kinda freaked me out. So in all honesty I prayed for it to go away and it did. Now that I am older, I look back and wish I could of seen it as a gift and not a burden. Tell this day I have not had anymore of these experiences.

I've had a half body experience. My legs were still in but my upper half was out. I could turn and see myself still lying in bed. I kinda freaked cause at that time I didn't know what was happening. I'm relatively new to astral travel. A few nights ago, I began the process of projecting as I had been for the last week. The following morning I was still very aware of everything that had happened--along with this strange feeling of foreboding. When I left to go to school, a man approached me at the gas station. The feeling in my gut was amplified after that. It lasted through the school day until I left. When I got in my car and started to pull out of my parking space, my car died. I panicked, restarted my car, and it was fine. After that, the feeling went away. I have no idea what happened to me, or why I was suddenly so in tune. Has anyone experienced something similar after attempting astral travel? I've tried to research the rolling, tearing feeling but to no avail. I feel like it might be something else entirely.

i've always wanted to experience astral projection. and i always looked up tips to improve my chances of experiencing it. so i did the simple trick of pinching your arm and feeling the slight pain to to remind myself i was awake. one time about 2 years ago i did this.. and i found myself feeling no pain and i became aware that i was asleep. but i saw nothing. it felt like i was either floating or sitting with my legs crossed like a school kid would on the floor. but had no weight and i was in the void or simple had my eyes shut. this lasted about ten second then i woke up. i was happy because i felt like i was close to astral projection. and now when i heard that story of that similar outcome i got goosebumps through out my whole body and it was intense. and now i kind of fear doing it again
That feeling of a million ants crawling all over your skin is a near death experience brother. I get them all the time I meditate, so I started forwarding all my meditation sessions with a prayer for God's blessings and protection and that made a beautiful difference. Didn't frighten me anymore.
I had an OBE when I was 18. I had laid down for a nap and woke up staring at the ceiling only a few feet away. I turned my head to my left and could see the top of my lamp & dresser with my body laying on the bed below me. At first I though I was dying, but I wasn’t going anywhere, I was just suspended there in space and I panicked, wiggled back & forth until I woke up in my body, almost. My right arm was still floating above my arm below, I remember thinking, “oh no, I’m going to have to go around with my arm outside my arm! how am I going to explain this! People are going to think I’m crazy, maybe I am crazy!”. I eventually willed my arm back into place, got up very shaken and splashed cold water on my face.
I worked at a small hospital so when I saw a group of doctors & nurses sitting in the break room I told them about the experience and asked them what happened. They all got up and left without an explanation, then the X-Ray technician who overheard chimed in and said, “I know what happened and he proceeded to tell me about astral projection and soul travel. He gave me a book called, “In My Soul I Am Free” by Brad Steiger.
He also belonged to a new-age group that specialized in Soul Travel, which I joined when I married him. I started doing spiritual exercises to initiate a spiritual experience (astral travel), but was never able to initiate one on my own. I did have a couple more OBE’s, one that was more of a NDE from food poisoning, but both were spontaneous. I’m no longer with that group or that husband.
It did leave me with a firm knowledge of my existence beyond space, matter & time, which means I am an eternal being.
actually scientists believe that fifth dimensional beings can go back in time or in future.
and some people believe that Astral plane (spirit realm) exists in fifth dimension so if someones who does Astral projection frequently and understands the mechanism of Astral plane can do time travel on command.

I've had several out of body experiences. The one that most was cool when I was laying down napping on my futon on my stomach. I heard my mom call me and I quickly and pushed up to get up. As I did this with out knowing I push out of my body. Once I realized what happen (seconds later) I jumped in my body again. Most of my obe occurred when I was nearly asleep napping.

i recently died in my dream but never have i saw my own self in a dream but in a recent one i saw my reflection in a window as i floated up i literaly felt myself slowly floating up but i was dead in my reflection and i wasnt me though i really panicked and started flaping my arms to go back down the sense of peace and being so light in the air i felt really scared all of a sudden! then i woke up i can still picture the woman who was dead who was me in my reflection it was like if i carried on letting go i knew id never wake up i went back down then woke up what would that be classed as?? also ive dreampt of things thats happened i possibly have had noway of knowing my best friend was terrified one night iv never saw someone look so scared she wouldnt even let me walk her home that night i was telling her about one.. she couldnt wait to get away from me she had tears running down her face she seemed petrified from what i told her id dreamed of creepy thing is her brother got found dead years after that day i told her about that dream that day 16 months after he went missing got found right by there no1 still knows how he died as his body was decomposed when they found him :( it was such a random place aswell freaked us out when i remembered about that dream :( i felt stupid reminding her at such a bad time but thought no thats too creepy.. i was addiment in the end i had some sort of phycic powers but i stopped looking into it all as i thought i was going mad but how i think did i dream of certain things?? but when you feel its real and you dont see yourself as crazy what is it exactly if anyone took their time to read my comment please dont mock me im not the best at wording things but would love it if you have answers for me as im getting back into this stuff!! People say your mad "its just a dream" its all about waking up that really fustrates me! The dreams of mine have actually been warnings i feel of whats to happen in the future or a an actual real thing thats happened in the past wich i shouldnt of known about weather its because it happened over 100years ago or what freaks me out how do i get to know that when iv had no way of knowing HOW JUST HOW also is when you wake up all of a sudden feeling like your falling off a cliff then u instantly wake up is that an outer body experience aswell? Or am i going off the subject now i dont know all the correct terms yous are all using YET lol
When you start having priorities, the vivid dreams stop coming. Your brain has to be consciously at ease when you go sleep. This is why we only have these AMAZING dreams as a kid because we had nothing to worry about then.

I've had a few instances in the past where I'd have the horrible sensation of falling really fast, and then wake up suddenly. Could this be the early stage of an OBE that was involuntary? I hadn't even heard of it back then

Ohh my god, that weirds me out so much. I had something happening to me at night and i asked my friend which astral projected naturally every night since she was a kid. She tried and also had her friend try and they both said the same thing. Like the feeling of something whooshing, pushing them away and they couldn't get to me. I just wanted them to see what was messing with me at night.

I enjoyed flying dreams. I could just lift myself up off the ground and not be confined by the forces of gravity and I could levitate and fly without fear of falling. The fear of falling was not there whatsoever in my subconscious mind. Whenever I'm flying, I can fly through the sky and the clouds, I could bank left and bank right at extreme angles and I can fly straight up into the air at tremendous speeds and my entire body can vertically spiral like a corkscrew going upwards, and whenever I could run I could run 120 to 220 mph and that's on a dead run! I wish I could have more of these flying dreams again and I do miss them!
I don't 'Partake', but I had a similar experience as well. I could see a group of 3 dressed like they were from the 1800's. Talking amongst themselves.
I felt like they were talking about me, but I couldn't make out what they were saying. Like you, it was like 'many' voices... It sounded like they all were talking at once. It was freaky, to say the least!!
It was VERY real!! I'll 'never' forget it and will 'always' wonder what it was all about...
Once I had an OBE where I was floating about outside dimensions somewhere in space - when I was about to 'wake up' I had to first try to remember not where, but *when* I came from, in order to get back to my body- I thought that was rather interesting.. :)

I am sure you hear this all the time, but your voice is silken! It is like audio velvet. I listen to a lot of the different scary story narrators on youtube, I find the stories really enjoyable, both for the thrills and how horrible some of them can be. I just listened to a compilation you and many others made together, and as much as I enjoy/subscribe to most of the others, your narration stood out. Your voice adds a lot to the scary atmosphere, as it is soothing, like quiet moments in a horror film they give you a false sense of security and the contrast of that to the horror you are suddenly presented with just makes the scary thing that much worse. You are a master of tension and suspense in your delivery.

I started researching astral projection a few years back and despite my best concerted efforts I could never induce it upon myself. Instead, it seems to happen spontaneously ever since I first heard about it. I always have the same experience though. I feel (and hear) powerful vibrations so I try to will myself further into the experience but I'm always held back by an intense fear. Fear of what? I don't know. No matter how much I try to control it I can't control the fear and eventually the vibrations stop happening and it's over. I so badly want to experience the next stage of it but this inexplicable fear always holds me back.

I once could see myself asleep in bed. I was in the very far corner of my room above my wardrobe and was just watching myself sleep. This was around the time I was having bouts of sleep paralysis.
I have had many OOBE, they're hard to explain. I always have them when I catch myself sleeping. My mind is conscious and aware. My whole body has the feeling like your arm when you sleep on it. Like the first story, my head is always anchored, and the hardest to detach. I refrained from trying to get out completely because there was so much pressure. Another thing is that you can see "through your eyelids" many times I have been able to see my sleeping body from another perspective other than my sleeping position, and when I get back in my body and awake it's always in the position I saw it in. Crazy trippy stuff.

Oh my God. The person who recounted their experience while they were in the hospital is so much similar to my dad's own event. My dad died in the recovery room of a hospital after having a knee replacement (which in itself is definitely not something you'd relate with death, but it happened). He stopped breathing for 5 minutes. How he is still alive.... I don't know, but he's still here, and that's all that matters to me. He was only 42 or 43 years old at the time, incase anyone is wondering.
The story might be somewhat long for a post here, but if anyone wants to know what he told me, I'd be happy to tell you. I expect most people won't believe it, but my father has been my best friend since I was a teenager, and I know that he would never make up something that was based around his own death. So to anyone that might send me a message wanting to hear the story, if you don't think it's true after hearing it and want me to know your opinion, that's fine as long as you state your opinion in a mature and respectful way, as I will not disrespect your opinion.

I had one when I was in a major car accident. I felt the car rolling, and a rapid upward jerk, and I looked down at my mangled car. I saw myself passed out, and my best friend bleeding in the passenger’s seat. Then the next thing I remember was the jaws of life. It’s a weird feeling. Idk how to explain what happened. I don’t really believe in souls or the astral plane, though I won’t say these things absolutely don’t exist. I just don’t really know, and there’s no way to really prove their existence. I do believe we are experiencing something though. Maybe the way neurons fire in our brains or something. We just can’t explain it yet.

I had a very beautiful woman show up who was standing near my bed, I thought she was some Goddess but suddenly I got worried that maybe she wasnt as she looked so I channelled divine light her way to expose her if she was something bad. Listening to me (or who ever) talking I realize the ultimate truth spoken so I completely trust their view. Next time I will attempt to fly through the roof to find out how far I can go during these events.
I've heard of a few others having awake OBE's but they always seem to be due to very traumatic situations. One guy was being chased up a tree by a bear close behind, & another was a girl involved in a motorcycle accident, watching herself sliding down the road, when they popped out.

While completely blind and paralyzed I floated up started flipping uncontrollably head over heels through my neighbors wall a few times it felt so weird

then i stopped floated straight up vertically and my head started bobbing off my popcorn ceiling it felt so real even down to my hair clinging to the texture between the bobs and I could feel the texture in my scalp I don’t remember what happened after but I think I had a lucid dream or I took off and flew in a big circle out of my window then back to my bed I could barely see it was supper foggy and dim and I could barely move
