Getting started with new software can be difficult, this is why this Quick Tip Tutorial provides you with everything you need to know on how to set up the Elgato Wave Link, so you can get started streaming faster!
The Elgato Wave Link is a virtual audio Mixer, which allows streamers to have grater control over their audio sources when livestreaming online. The Elgato Wave Link setup allows to adjust the volume of certain audio sources independently of each other as well as independently for the livestream as well as monitor mix.
The main advantage over not using an audio mixer for your livestreams is that with the Elgato Wave Link, you can quickly adjust or mute audio sources in your livestream with ease.
If you require additional information about a certain aspect of the Elgato wave link, do not hesitate to write a comment.

If you send me a PS5 i can do that.
@@GreenBoxMedia Thanku
How do I set this up with the twitch vod track without muting the entire elgato mixer as a whole?
By adding the music track as a seperate audio source to OBS and then only routing it to the live stream not the vod track. You also need to remove the music track from the stream in the Link software (mute it).
No not with audio cable they already use the elgato mixer.
Hey man, Im sorry but I seem to have a problem a lot of people are facing too which is somehow related to the new update.
So now my monitor mix is not audible, it says it is working but I cant hear anything through my columns or my headphones, do you have any solution for this? you can see the soundbars are working fine, through spotify discord etc but I cant hear anything
Same!
What have I done wrong, my friends in game can hear my alerts, like followes and gifts. Can you help please
dont send the stream audio to your game. use your mic instead.
Hello, the problem I am having is trying to get media sources in a scene to play through the wave stream. For some reason they go to another source that I can not define.
How are you laying those media sources? What software?
@@GreenBoxMedia using OBS - not sure what you mean by "laying"
@@barackuse playing*
so those media sources are in OBS? Make sure to set them in the advanced audio settings to monitor only. This way you can route OBS to a track and then route that track back to OBS.
@@GreenBoxMedia that did the trick, have OBS routed to its own track. Is seems that embedded media sources are route out that same track. I wish I could separate them, like my music and game.
You can! Each source in OBS can be routed to the track 1-6 seperatly inside the advanced audio settings.
why is all my sound crackling/choppy now that I am using this software?????????
It shouldn't be. What Elgato product are you using?
