HOLY CHRIST. Can we talk about the ambience at the beginning, which is absolutely gold by the way? And the CHANT!! That chant is terrifying and I absolutely love it. Strings made this like 30 times better, and that brassy effect, whatever that was, that gave me goosebumps. This right here is the real theme to Halloween.

I didn't like it at first. The loud, what would you call it, moan or groan that came after the female chanting turned me away from it, but it's grown on me now.
