The truth is always the best way. What's worse is when the person makes you think they have feelings and know how much you like them and they string you along and take advantage. All while acting like they're into you the same way then you find out it was all a lie.
Sometimes it’s for the best… or at least that’s what you thought…
Some things are simply not meant to be, and when you recognize that, it is easier to let go. I think it becomes easier with time and experience. Does it hurt any less? Well, that depends on how deeply you fall. Doing the right thing, though, isn’t always easy but there’s a reason why it’s right. You can choose to heal or you can decide to live with the scars and move forward. And one day you’ll realize that it doesn’t bother you anymore. You are stronger than you think you are.
Wow, I forgot I commented this. I’ll give you all an update. (TL;DR: I never walked away.) I met someone through online classes and we had just began talking. We called and FaceTimed and stayed up for hours every night. He was very into me and I was still hung up on an ex at the time. I fell hard for him over the past few months. We both got vaccinated so we could meet, but it turns out he hadn’t even told his family about me. Without their input, I can’t meet him. He’s made me wait two months longer than I should’ve waited to see him. We begin taking in-person classes in three weeks, and we signed up for some of the same classes a few months ago. He has told me that we’ll figure out what we are together, after we’ve spent some time with each other. I’ve asked him to tell his parents many times and he promised he would. He still hasn’t. I know it sounds like a red flag. Trust me, I see it too. He’ll have no choice but to see me at school, and I have no idea how he’ll feel about me. We aren’t exclusive, and I understand that, but I’ve become attached. If he wants to be friends, it’ll take me some time to heal. I really thought he was the one, I’ve thought that for months. The reason he hasn’t wanted to meet is because he’s afraid things will change, and he’s afraid I won’t feel the same way about him as I did before. I think that’s just an excuse. He told me that no matter what happens, I will always have a place in his heart. We’ll see how it goes when I do meet him.

I don't know if anyone will read this but I just wanna share it and continue listening to this amazing song. I was always bullied by people around me. For some reason, no one tried to be friends with me, or talk to me like I'm a normal person. I was always lonely and developed anxiety and depression throughout my life, feeling useless, worthless, nothing but someone who doesn't deserve to live and feeling like I'm disappointing even the people that doesn't know me. I don't know what Am I living for, why do I continue and why was I born in the first place? I feel like my place isn't here, that I'm not worth to even breath but when I think of dying, leaving everything behind, I'm scared. I'm scared of making my family suffer when it's all my fault I feel like this. Truth is, no one wants to die for real, we just want to feel happy, just a little time when we don't have to worry about every little thing, when we don't have to cry and feel guilty, when we would smile and be happy. We just want everything to be over, either the loss of someone or the feeling of being wortless because the people around you don't care at all, we all have scars we just can't forget. I always thought I'm alone, but I see so many people sharing stories and realize I'm not the only one and maybe I'm not someone who can say this but just... don't give up. Even if you feel like there is no tomorrow, like your world is crashing down and you have no place to hide, there are always better times and a good future that is waiting for you, you just have to be strong and face the world, cry if you want, do things that at least used to give you happiness and find someone to listen to you. It's always gonna be something for you, so... Believe in yourself, in the person you are and try to love yourself! ❤ I may not know you, but I love you, I know you're a strong person, a kind and amazing person and can do everything you dream for!

Listening to this song gave me so many flashbacks from when I was still friends with that person. Thankfully we are currently in good terms, however he still doesn’t want to be friends with me. Heres the thing about your music. To me, the song felt like a story about a person that tried everything to keep a relationship together, but the other person didnt. I feel like it’s a person who tried everything to make their relationship work with their girlfriend but nothing ever worked, the girlfriend was depressed and she couldn’t snap out of it, everything the boyfriend did never worked or wasn’t enough for her, but it wasn’t his fault, she was just sad until she finally realized that all the stuff he’s doing for her is making him depressed to so she finally ends, therefore trying to get rid of the burden the boyfriend felt while she was alive but that wasn’t the case, now the boyfriend misses her and is saying that he would have done any and everything if that would’ve meant she was still alive.

I broke up with my boyfriend of 4 years last year because I thought it was what was best, I didn't know know how I felt anymore and I didn't think it was fair to him to stay in a relationship where I didn't know how I felt anymore. I regret it every day, I was so emotionally constipated, that I didn't realize how much I still loved him and I still do.
