There is a full story behind this MV. The storylines actually represented different timelines in each of their lives. This MV was one of Justin's early creative works. He hand made most of the story boards before having the animation finished. Im sure another A'tin can really explain it better. I love this song. It was also used as an OST for the Game Boys (BL series) movie trailer. Yes the Wish Bus performance was during Covid. The Philippines was really locked down at the time. It's around the same time Ikako was released and Pablo wrote Nyebe. Watch them perform this on the TM Pusuan love show. It's such a good performance and they did Tilaluha during the same show.

My take: the MV revealed a love story of each in their past. Pablo,I believe, met an accident and his ladylove died. Ken, I think, had feelings for someone w a different gender preference. Josh got surprised on his return to discover that probably a former love already has her own family. Justin had a secret crush in one of his classmates who was offered scholarship abroad. Stell had a crush on one of the customers in the coffeeshop where he works. It was mostly about not being able to express their affection. 😊
this song made me an a'tin. it was used as soundtrack to gameboys season 2 (boys love series). the song is so beautiful and mahalima's vocals are so perfect.
one thing about sb19 is that they feel the songs they sing. i think they just internalized the emotions, because this was filmed the same time as "ikako" which showed them in a more playful mood.

They were in character that's why their facial expressions were a bit sad but on the other song that they performed on the same day "ikako" was a jolly song look at how their expressions changed.
The boys are the main characters in the MV btw. I believe Justin is the director as well. One of the best ballads they have, flexing those harmonies. Loving their live vocals. 😊😊😊
Their facial expressions are sad because it is very sad song, it hits very different in Pilipino language. I believed they are actually living the emotions of the song. Watch IKako on Wish Bus taped on the same day, and you see a very different aura.
This was during the peak of pandemic era. This performance was also not announced. If they’re emotional like this is probably because their career just started that time, and then pandemic happen. So they must have felt stagnant at the moment.

It's a song about unrequited but undying love so they have to sing/perform this in character. The lyrics are heartwrenching. The English translation (which you can see in the cc of the music video) does not do justice to the beauty of the sound and meaning of the Tagalog words. Hanggang sa Huli is everyone's favorite SB19 ballad, even OPM legends like Regine Velasquez Alcasid love this song. (She and the boys sang this in a noontime TV program and also when she was the special guest at the WYAT World Tour Homecoming Concert on December 18, 2022. There are fancams of both here in YT.) I love Hanggang sa Huli because of the beautiful melody and lyrics. Pablo always gives his compositions his golden touch and he did so doubly in this song.
By the way, Tanya's pronunciation of the song title is on point. She is starting to sound like a native.

Re Wish Bus - they were in the zone, as they always are when they're singing an emotional song! On that same day, they also performed IKAKO, an upbeat song - you can see that they were not sad at all! Haha Also, this was recorded during lockdowns; thus, there were no people outside the Wish Bus. If I remember it correctly, Josh also had an injured shoulder here. Regardless, HANGGANG SA HULI will always be my fave in GITZ album and this performance, one of their best performances on the Wish Bus!

Tanya’s pronunciation of the song’s title is so spot on. This song remains to be one of my favorite from SB19. The emotions, the story, the voices. There’s another MV for this song with the boys in Jeju Island, S. Korea. I actually like that MV more than this animated MV. Looking forward to your reaction to Stell’s Room MV.
This is the song that cemented me being A'tin. Been playing this on repeat when I heard this the first time.
this is the song that made me stan them. I first saw their wish awards performance of Go Up, but this song also on wish bus made me stan then. I'm a sucker for ballads and they gave me chills during those wonderful harmonies. it's a bonus when I learned that they are funny and chaotic when i dug deeper into their personalities.
You guys dont know how much i love this song. My favorite part is Justin's MAHAL KITA".. Its just so emotional how he delivered that line.. Its piercing my heart.

That is what we called song interpretation. An artists especially when singing ballad should feel, understand the song and transcend the emotion to the listeners. In that way you can say an artist is really a good performer.
They are in the zone internilizing with the song. Everytime when they do ballads they are like this.
After Gento I searched for their ballad song… and brought me to this song, the rest is history me falling deeply inlove with voice / performances of these boys.
Acceptance & moving forward is what the MV's main message. Justin wrote the story & made the storyboard from scratch then Collab with a Filipino Animation studio JujuArts.

Pablo, Justin friends & schoolmates from 2009 then went on a reunion in 2015 where they met an accident & 1 died (Pablo's girl), Pablo got disabled & 1 critical (mostly assumed it was Justin coz he didn't appear after the 2015 timeline & assumed he died), when Josh went back to his home town years after, his childhood love already had a family, Ken like someone with gender preference & which infact the daughter of Josh's childhood love while Stell like a girl whom he's been serving coffee everyday but when he finally got the courage to confess but she's already in a relationship.
If I remember right they posted a video of them rehearsing for this. Very raw, no microphones, nothing but their voices and the acoustics of the room. It’s unbelievable. Please consider giving that a watch. And thank you for this!

Hanggang sa Huli is still in my top 5! There are teasers to this, and a Jeju version as well. But the storyline in Justin’s anime made it so beautiful. If I’d compare it to any anime, it would have Your Name feels.

This is "THE" song that made me stan them, when I first watched Go Up, i said the MV and songis OK but i do see the talent and the potential, then I watched Tilaluha and thought that was much better. But then I watched their infamous press conference when one of the reporters bashed them with such ludicrous questions. Then at the same press conference where they performed this song, before it was officially released. I then stanned them and said to myself this boys needed to be protected from such bashers. My favorite HSH MV will probably be the Jeju Island MV, please check it out when you can.

Tanya, if you were bothered by Ken's picture with the statue in I Want You, you guys should react to Stell's newly release solo song "Room". You'll see Stell in a different light. Some of the sisiw are temporarily leaving the coop to go to the berry farm. And some stellberries are going to the chicken coop.
If I remember right, this was performed when they were preparing for their first online concert during the pandemic. Thus no crowd as Philippines was in a lock down period. This is also the same area where they did their Wish Bus comeback for Pagsibol era.
If you will listen to the album record, Hanggang sa Huli has portion where Ken’s part was sang or blended with Stell.

Yes, we had a very long extended lockdown during 2020, then opened aloghtly then locked down again for sometime in 2021. It's said we are one of the countries if not the country that has the longest lockdown. But I'm not aware if they did this during that time. I wasn't a fan yet.
Yes, the MV was made in 2020. They couldn’t go out and shoot so they had to release an animated one from Justin’s storyboard.

Hanggang sa Huli MV
This shows how each one of them had gone through heartbreaks. Just like the song, even though the world changes and things happen, their love will always be there until the very end. Based on the timelines:
2009- Justin is writing on his notebook. He is a student who is in love with his girl classmate. But then, even before he can confess his feelings, the girl was accepted into an international school with scholarship which means they had to stay apart from then on.
(then you will see on a clip that he and Pablo were in the same class, they were in group photo plus walking together from school)
2015 - this is the year of death for the photo on the tree where a Pablo in a wheelchair was. A clip of Pablo mourning on his room was seen on the beginning with a newspaper that says (a class reunion ended up in a tragedy). He loved his classmate too but the girl died on an accident after their class reunion which I think Pablo survived and now in a wheelchair.
(then you will also see that Pablo was riding the same bus as Josh when Josh was on his way to the park)
2015 - since Pablo and Josh rode the same bus so I'm assuming it's the same year. Josh goes back to reminisce his first love in a childrens park. Like going back to his hometown. You will see there that he is in love with his childhood friend and both of them had a simple red bracelet as a sign of their relationship (on the tree it says Athena loves Josh, 'Athena' which sounds like A'tin, the fandom). Josh meets a little girl and consoles her by giving her his red bracelet then later on, the little girl's parents comes by and the mother had a red bracelet on her arm which Josh recognized. So she was his first love and now she is happily married and the little girl is her daughter.
(fast forward to future, you will see Ken doing street art with spray paint)
2034 (based on the date on the cafe) - Ken falls in love with a girl who's very good at dancing. You will see that the girl has a red bracelet on her arm (this means, she's the little girl and has now grown up to be a lady). But then one day, Ken saw the girl he's in love with is dating with another girl in the cafe which makes him heartbroken. Then the girl was harrassed but Ken still helped her even though he knew that she is in love with someone else and just gave back a sad and understanding smile.
(the cafe where Ken saw the girl with another is where Stell is working)
2034- in the note, the year was 2034. Stell falls in love with a customer who oftens come to the cafe. He always gives her coffee and leaves notes like a secret admirer. But then by the time he confessed his identity as the one who gives her coffee, she comes with another man in her arms which makes him heartbroken.
All this just shows their first heartbreaks and even if they did not end up with the girl they loved, they would still continue loving until the end. It also shows how everything and everyone is connected somehow and that it's truly a small world.

The same day on Wishbus they recorded another song Ikako, which is a happy upbeat song and they looked so happy and
enjoyed singing it, even playing around a bit. So must be the mood each song presents. Also, Josh had a shoulder injury
