@@eqtheproducer Something that also helps is when you move down a string to play, you move your thumb down from the pickup as well. Like on your bassline, on the 1, you play on the E string, so thumb on pickup. When you move to the A string, you move your thumb on the E string to stop any vibrations on it. And so on as you move up and down the strings 👍

Thanks for asking! So cloth on the end dampens some of that excess reverberation you may get (especially when you're a novice bass player like myself)
