Thank you so much for bringing back to light this gorgeous classic, I love It, and its flanker, Agua Brava Azul. It is great to see you back again, I will not miss any of your reviews. Greetings from México.
Remember agua brava used to be available for free on aircraft bathrooms of Iberia airlines!!! Love it and still reminds me of those great summer vacation flights to Spain!!
My uncle uses this and it sticks to him like glue! It leaves a big scent trail as well. To my nose it's a quintessential Spanish scent, never dated, but quite manly. Gotta love the bay leaf accord on this one. Keep the reviews coming!
I have a 500 ml splash bottle and a 100 ml spray bottle of this great fragrance, it's simply stunning and gorgeous cologne, with that solid character and deep personality exactly for the mature gentleman, super classic and conservative, that it's a compliment to the man that knows what he wants and stands on his ground; another cologne is BRUMMEL, also from Puig house, it has this woody-spicy and a few mossy notes in the dry down, very retro and full of body, perfect for spring/summer and maybe fall season, last for about 5 hours but it's one of those fragrances that you must get closer to smell it, that makes this scent perfect for those men (like myself) that do not like to announce our presence in the room but when people get closer they can smell the scent that is not very strong but will leave them wondering "what is that intriguing and wonderful scent this gentleman is wearing, sophisticated and very masculine"?
Agua Brava! A Spanish Classic! 🇪🇸🌲I have a bottle of this, it definitely has been reformulated, I distinctly remember my grandfather wearing it... it was a lot stronger in those days. Can’t get a more old school Spanish fragrance, the pine note in this one is it’s signature note imo.
I didn't like the first two Puig fragrances I tried (including Aqua) but Quorum and Quorum Silver were stellar, and my recently acquired bottle of Sybaris is exceptional. I will definitely take a look at the one. Cheers!
I have to try Agua Brava, if sounds fantastic. I love Quarum it's honestly one my favourite fragrances - love the dry-down especially - the original formula aftershave splash has better longevity than the new formula EDT spray, still far better longevity than many far more expensive fragrances.
Looks like a nice wine bottle . Vintage 68 fragrance is unique I can imagine and maybe it has not changed too much from oxidation being over 50 years old ..
Glad you got the review done mate! Love hearing about frags from you that I haven’t heard of or seen reviews of. Clove, pine & thyme? Now does that rhyme? Excellent review, thanks!
Mine also. My first fragrance I purchased when I joined fragcomm, and the first fragrance review I ever did all because of your review. I ended up getting 3-50mls! :D
Mate, just came across your channel. Great review. I bagged myself a bottle during lockdown, also a vintage 350ml from the 70s. Brings memories back from being a kid in Spain and my dad having the same giant bottle in the bedroom. You describe it as 'deep forest' - that's the description I've been reaching for, cause that is it. btw being such an old bottle how much do you think it has changed over time in the bottle?
Much appreciated! It certainly is one of my favorates for sure too! I havent smelled the new version sadly so I cant say too much, but I highly doubt it's different in all honesty, just the bottle design and packaging is different, I hope this helps, and thanks again for your comment!
@@fragrancematt it actually does smell different from the newer ones, with the later to me smelling more zesty i guess? but at it's base it shares the same core LOL
fragrancematt. Woody green scents are ones I’m always a fan of for sure like Tsar or Acqua Di selva / Pino. I have a soft spot for Acqua Di Parma colonia thought I credit that one for starting my whole fragrance journey lol. Again awesome video I want to purchase the Agua Brava aftershave now to go with my edt
Great review, thanks.

You like this better than Acqua Di Parma?, this reminds me of Acqua Di selva and Pino Silverstein a lot, enjoyed the review sir !!
It could just be this version :) but yes I do very much. I just prefer greens and woods as aposed to too much citruses :) thanks buddy! Big fan!

Try the newest version. I still wear it.
Is that a vintage or reformulated
It is a vintage my friend :)
85% vol is alcohol concentration
Bay leaf bomb, green, herbs. I prefere quorum over this one.
