- Today I’m hitting the beach with @SeekandDetect ! Up here in Monterey! We had a mildly “realistic” hunt with some interesting odds and ends. Hope you enjoy! 🤙

The light 'ostrich' coin and the schilling are pre-Euro (

@@MontereyMagnetMan yeah, they are rhodium plated and are iridescent I believe.
@@MontereyMagnetMan I think your item number matches up better with the knock-offs though. The Homer item numbers have spaces in them from what I saw. Good luck!
@@bobulele I think it’s a knock off because the color isn’t on their website and the clasp/loop thing looks pretty cheap. Like a keychain basically.

A productive hunt with S&D! Me too - found stuff in the roots of that big tree! I remember a crack-spoon 🤪 & dime/nickel. NICE foreign coin spill! Overseas visitors, please lose some in SoCal too! 😁
It’s strange that there were two different entrances to the beach. I’ll take a nice foreign coin over a zinc penny any day!
@@SeekandDetect - The only foreign I ever detect is an occasional Mexican coin. But in the last month or so I noticed an uptick in (unexpected countries) foreign coins being found on SoCal YT detecting channels. I can't wait to get back out there to find some too! 🤑
