Nice, sleek-looking bag. Good price too. My color choice (Mystery Pop) is out is stock. As is often the case these days with so many things... Great review, as always!
are you spying on me? I've been considering getting a prizefighter for a week now. Others in the mix include the evergoods civic half zip and the able carry daily.... So tough to decide though. I really like my current PD every day backpack, but I'd like to add something more suitable for an occasional hike
How exactly did you get a hold of the pack? Might be nice to point out for Aus viewers that MR don't ship to Australia and actually block retailers from shipping their products to Australia.
Yeah it's tricky getting MR in AU. We've worked with them to get a review unit so we can feature it on the channel. MR currently only list Sea To Summit as their AUS distributor so you could try to get in touch and see if they could order a pack over (Southern Cross Equipment used to do this). We're actually looking into stocking them as well, but want to get a better sense of the demand before we do. - Ed
They don’t ship anywhere I think other then the states. They won’t ship to Canada but there are some suppliers that do carry some of there merchandise.
Problem with Mystery Ranch bags the black color fabric is an excessive dust/hair magnet. Why they choose such a material for such a popular color is beyond my comprehension.
I like the load lifters on an everyday bag, but no water bottle pockets?! That's criminal. No key leash? Unlined delicates pocket? No external access, dedicated laptop compartment? This is amateur hour. Too much cost cutting.
Feels like they're just banking on the US and tactical roots, which, is, whatever. I'd rather support something socially responsible like Patagonia Refugio than quasi-patriotic, borderline problematic.
No strap management is just insane, none of their bags have it. No key hook in 2021 I guess they have decided to cut some things. Some people it will bother and others it won’t make a difference. I really don’t like supporting companies that think the unites states is the only country in the world that wears backpacks. International can be a huge market

I really love the way you review backpacks (and anything). Thanks for the great video.
Yes. All the mystery ranch.

@@RushfasterTV I got my MR bags second hand from Japan, but I'd love to see them stocked at Rushfaster :)

everyday carry shootout - best everyday carry of 2021!

is this bag good for school?
Yeah it'll do decent for school. Very comfortable straps.

Though the result of that cost cutting is a lower price.
Oddly I prefer all of the things you note as dislikes, but hate load lifters. Different strokes.
Yeah i'll admit there are things that I find somewhat lacking too, but the price point really does change it and put things in perspective.
