- This video is an in-depth look at how aggregate (limestone) goes from the ground (or quarry) to being laid and compacted on roadways. This video follows the stone through the crushing and screening process, undergoing quality control testing, and then being fed through an asphalt plant. The finished product (hot-mix asphalt) is then shown being laid and compacted onto a roadway.
Most of this video footage was acquired in central Kentucky.

It would be a droll if a worker was splashed in hot asphalt from head to toe, then went rolling in the aggregate which stuck to the molten asphalt and so for several agonizing moments before he died, the worker would stumble around looking like a humanoid rock monster, like the Thing in Fantastic 4.
Your video would be 100% better without that damn drum beat and then we WOULD HEAR THE MACHINERY BETTER!!!
