Double Clunk! Refurbishment Finally complete! Kone Monospace (ecodisc) Lift @ Gateshead Interchange

This lift was originally installed in 2003. It connects Gateshead metro station ticket concourse level with the bus station and exit level in Gateshead interchange. Refurbishment began in late 2022 and by January 2023, the lift looked almost ready, yet then nothing happened for many months and it has only just reopened recently. The lift still does not have proper floor labels though! The labels are just written on the panel! Hopefully proper panels will be added soon!
The lift sounds different now. It runs smoother and has a double clunk, which I think means it has a new VF.
The lift has the new screen display being added to various lifts on the Tyne and Wear Metro network and the standard buttons and metro custom voice.

Yeah I agree. I preferred it before. I liked the delta buttons and drucegrove voice which are sadly gone!

Yeah I agree. I preferred the Drucegrove from before the mod.
