    Want to keep me motivated to post free unique didgeridoo knowledge on YT? Start recording that homework and post it on YT + send me a link! On top of that, buy a didge occasionally so that I don't have to start selling ice-cream, and we can continue to play this game for a very long time.

    Du you’re so talented and a really great teacher. I watched this a few months ago before attending your masterclass and it made no sense at all to me being a total novice. After the mega masterclass last week, this makes so much more sense! I’m so excited that I’ve found your channel and meeting you in person was a heavenly bonus. Love the didge I bought from you and it’s already transforming my paying after just 5 days of practice!! Xxx

    This great video is enhancing the most crucial topic of latest didgeridoo playability development in last decade... I believe. Shows the path out from the muddy base drone realm where lot of players had sink into... some even esotericly worshiping it. Same like somebody would find a great drum set in forest and start to play on it by hands (in gloves) and teach it others around. Then there come a weird guy and start to beat it with tiny sticks, using even metronom. Yes, he is breaking tradition ! :) or he is reveling that digeridoo is fundamentaly a rhythmical instrument where you should train your self to commit sharp beats in metro. Welcome to 21st centrury...lets take off the gloves from hands, please. with love and piece... your Lukáš

    • @DuendeDidgeridoo
      @DuendeDidgeridoo  Рік тому +1

      I find it interesting that when you remove the gloves, and you beat the (air)drum with fingers, your fingers become stronger. In other words, your lips and lip position are trained with CD a lot and I do feel it affects the drone when you go to drone, giving you a better control, especially in the bass. Because one needs to embrace the beaver tail embouchure to make friends with thickness. Of sound.

      It's a long marathon indeed, but I'm feeling pretty good and I'm confident that the end will come eventually :)
      Two points:
      I definitely read every description and appreciate it very much.
      You're wearing your t-shirt the wrong way round, that's very well thought out because you can read the Free Tibet saying perfectly!
      um yes, that was now off topic but still had to get out.
      I'm going to condense now

    The one thing I am finding it a little difficult to breathe on the wa part of ta wa ka manly because I learnt to circular beath at the end of a 4 or 3 beat structure but always on the last beat now i can bounce breathe but just find it hard to breathe on a second beat of a 3 beat structure, so was wondering if anyone else has that issue.

  • @mikeianosiproject-acoustic5924

    The homework looks simple! i have incorporated this to my daily exercises. I will send you a recording soon. However, shouldn't the accents be a little bit less emphasized after a (loud) drone, to give the feeling of loud and soft?

      I decided to just play what I think is what you played and let the audience decide whether I deciphered it correctly! Given I'm playing it slower than you do, I suppose it's easier to hear the bits & pieces that make up the riff. Once the embargo is lifted, I intend to add the actual articulations I played (and I think you played) as subtitles to the beginning of the video: ua-cam.com/video/uiMRovMVxVo/v-deo.html
