+1 for the kettlebell and committing to the bit with a 20lb one, functional fitness is for everyone!
Coaching execs on new technology are not my favorite memories but as another comment points out, any upgrading to your SOP on getting them set for AV basics will be an awesome polish point for this series. If you can manage to get them to record locally and share the file, that could be an instant boost to quality.
Maybe a video on critical feedback and the importance of empathy in coaching relationships is a natural next step here. Also an idea spawned from a comment below.
Thank you for finding Xandra and sharing more world class leadership and management material!

Chuckline. This is timely for us currently, and great for fine tuning our processes.

Sounds like Sandra hasn‘t heard of Zoom yet. That said, this video is difficult to view. The first thing i noticed is Sandra not using a headset or at least a quality microphone. If she‘d be my employee, that would be the first thing to discuss. She seems to disrespectfuly value her QOL above anybody elses. From that point on i lost interest. Why would i listen to someone who lacks basic manners? It‘s an interesting topic, but this video didn’t deliver.

I was curious as well if she was going to mention leveraging video calls. She mentioned "face to face" but no direct call outs to zoom, google meet, or slack vide, etc. I would encourage looking past AV nitpicks to see if the content holds value. Yes, the call dropped audio and the camera angle was distracting. Basic manners for you or I with our background and experience in digital workspaces may look different to others. Xandra mentions a parallel to this early on in how peoples experiences are a bias for how they receive feedback and coaching. She may share the experience of other C levels I have met being dropped into a digital landscape with no past experience.

@ Fair points, but - i’m not a native English speaker, so bad audio is a huge issue. I have teammates in the US and across Europe, the first thing that you want to have a policy for in such a setting is audio / video quality. Not only because using a speakerphone is unpolity but because it slows down communication and is an ongoing source of errors. Just make a headset or a quality mic part of your onboarding hardware set.
