Very well done, no confusion. needed some info as I'm adding a dash cam with cabin rear/ backup camera (not replacing factory cam) I mounted to the first small piece of trim. Made a small hole to run wire. Do you know where or which wire I'd tap into for the rear camera red wire to activate?
It could be more than one thing trying adjusting the striker by pushing it in some the striker is what the gate lock into or check the shock that’s holding up the door
The video showed me exactly how to remove the large backing cover of the tailgate to find the loose nut or something that rolls about each time I open the tailgate. Many thanks.
Just did the process as you showed and I was able to get the trim panels off exactly as you showed. In the bottom of the trim panel was a black nut that obviously had not been fitted correctly on the top spoiler . The bare stud was under the rubber plug. I also found 8 other nuts looser than they should have been. All tightened now and NO rattles. Now to look at fitting hydraulic lift units under the bonnet as it very heavy for an 80 year old to lift up. That's me.
Always keep busy and enjoy every hour. I always have done my own car repairs etc. taught my sons to be busy too. My 19 year grandson is now a fitter turner and a keen car mechanic too. Thanks and keep up your video clips. Photography and videography are another of my hobbies. Now the retirement village wants me to set up an IT and Photo group. Now to build a BBQ area in the el freco area.
You’re right at the Time the shop didn’t have the proper lighting but you should be ok with the video because I showed you the instructions first. Thanks for tuning in
Would you believe the dealer wanted $500 labour to replace the tail gate light not going to happen a simple job as you have showed ignorance is bliss. I work on class 8 trucks a bull in the china shop this helps I will do it myself. Thank you my wife is a disaster crashing everything MAN running out of plastic ties and duct tape it is sad 40 years me never touched a thing her another claim will be dropped. Anyways kudos for this I will do as expected subscribe and a thumbs up you made my day.
You’re more than welcome men, I simply made these videos to help you guys out and to get a lil pocket change from UA-cam because I know how much these people charge whenever you bring your car in. And I used to go through the same shit with my ex wife until I started making her accountable for her actions. We getting separated bank account if you break it you pay for it including your half of the bills around this house, start holding her accountable and you will see the changes in her

A little bit of light 🚨🚨🚨 will help.
Hard to see anything.😅
I know my apologies but as you could see it’s the lighting inside the shop is very poor
