    Good stuff but all jars need sanitized before canning.

      If processed for more than 10 minutes, you don't need to from all the sources I see. Salsa is water bathed for 40 minutes.

      @jdman-ohio it never hurts that's for sure but if they are going to be processed longer than 10 min, you don't have to... but like I said, it would never hurt.

    Nothing wrong with being safe. I only do what the FDA says is safe. If there is a catastrophe you will not be able to run to the emergency room. So, don't think you are smarter than them it's not worth it.
