LOL this happen with me at target withn "Im Nayeon" we asked the employee, for all the 4 versions and there was only one on the floor. the worker said "We just have that." as a target worker/kpop stam I KNOW they have them in the back... so we ask a new worker... BOOM got all the versions.. that first team member EMBARESSED!

the songs aren't bad it's just that the album lacks cohesiveness or at least a sound/theme throughout it. illusion and girls seem to be the only ones that make sense together, lifes too short sounds like a single, and the other two could've been from two different albums. Savage had songs that were different but they still made sense together on the album , it was a theme throughout and all the songs were great. Illusion is def my fav and then girls, they r honestly the only one that sound aespa like. i also agree that it seems a bit rush and it just isnt nearly as polished as savage was imo
i loved the mv but yea the photobook pics weren't rly outstanding as the previous ones

I think Savage, the mini album, just set the bar too damn high because I like every song in Girls album so far but Savage is just a league of its own, first listen and I just love every song, I was even alternating which song is my top 1 for months.
I guess Girls, as a whole album, will grow on me because I genuinely like every song.
I think Barnes and Noble put KPop albums at the front of the store so people would stop stealing photocards 😭

Anyone know why the kwangya version i bought from B&N had a Karina character card with a black border instead of a foil border? Ive seen other unboxings and some have the foil and some don't but i have not found any explanation for this difference.

Every aespa unboxing is like "I love aespa, the girls are so pretty, but fuck these songs". So explain why all ya'll are buying like 10 of the same album if you don't even like it? Shouldn't that be embarrassing?
since when do people buy kpop albums to listen to the cd? we obviously buy them for the photos and photocards. i can buy the album to support the girls and not be crazy about the songs

Oh wow. My insterest in Aespa is completely out the window now that it's clear that there will be no consistency in packaging between releases. What happened SM? What happened to those cute square book albums you did with Red Velvet? Aespa will not have a place on my shelf if this behavior continues.

I'm just saying that SM used to do (at least for the most part) consistent packaging on their albums - All SNSD solos and most EXO releases were the 150mm x 210mm hardcover book; almost all RV had the 150mm x 150mm hardcover; ShinEE had 165mm x 160mm hardcover - I mean just look at any SM fan shelf tour video, there will be many flat shelves, all albums looking nice next to eachother because they're all the same height. I can imagine an asepa fan's shelf would just look chaotic and messy with all the sudden height changes.
In fact, the literal only reason I got into aespa (because their music sure isn't the reason,) is because the case version of their last album was identical to the RV solos and Queendom. I thought aespa would add more matching albums with that style, and hoped to have a whole shelf with those types of albums, but I was wrong.
The point that I'm trying to get across is that many people collect just because of consistent packaging. I was complaining about SM entertainment's merchandising team as a whole - they used to be great about consistent packaging but they stopped it, and I'm starting to lose interest in all SM groups as a whole because of it because even ReVe festival 2022 lacked any consistency.
So bad this album
