During my grief process due to the passing of my husband Harry Rogers on 6/21/22. Thank you, God, for being there with me through it all now and forever.
Wow!!! This is my life's song!!! Thanks for this song!!! I've been through a lot, there was a time when I felt like am about to give up... But in those times God is always reminding me to never give up! And two days ago I've received one of the things that I've been praying for after a decade of waiting it finally happened! And I thank God for that... Those years, I still live my life, still kept on going even if it's hard, God was there, those hard days... Through it all God's with me! To all of you, who is having a real hard time right now I am telling you, don't give up! God is with you! There's always a light at the end of the tunnel! BE PATIENT, LIVE LIFE AND HAVE FAITH! God bless you!
I've going through some trouble times for some time now, I just don't know how much more I can take.. Thank you for this song.. As I sit here with tears in my eyes not knowing what to do with my crazy life, it's comforting knowing that God has Been my God Through all Of it...
+Wendy Lorraine Milsap-Brayboy : Look, I understand you're zealousness for the sacred name of Christ but I'd like you to just take a second or more and thoughtfully consider the god-hating, senseless, and aimlessly broken sinner that you were B.C. (before Christ) and imagine that there's a broken sinner out there who has been beaten, pummeled, and virtually exasperated by over-the-top Christians like you and me who end up hearing this song and it stirs in their hearts a simple curiosity of this God they believe is dead and in time it develops into an eternal relationship with the very Christ whom you preach and bemoan is not mentioned in this song... or you not read the Old Testament book of Esther where the name of God is not even mentioned one single time? Yet, His presence is obviously inspired throughout the entire book and time and time again the book of Esther has been preached throughout the Church worldwide. So, just because Jesus name is not in this song perhaps what Colton is hinting toward is the Eternal Godhead in which in the bridge alone he croons, "this is who You are, more constant than the stars..." Personally, this song has drawn me closer to God than I have been in the last 6 months so please be considerate of others and learn to discern when to be zealous for Christ and when to remain silent and praise God for songs like these that the rest of the persecuted world would LOVE to hear, themselves. Go in peace and serve the Lord, friend.
