Loved the antique day trip! I look for blue and white and white ironstone, baskets, old boxes, fish plates as I lived on a lake for thirty years and used them for my entry and dining room walls. I’ve recently moved to the beach and live on the intracoastal so the plates work here as well!
Loved going to the antique shop with you and Stewart! Fantastic array of items to suit a myriad of tastes. The things you have chosen are great, Linda! I especially love the desk and hope you find room for it in your home. BTW, it would be so nice if we could “meet” Stewart in one of your videos! He does such a wonderful job! Thanks for everything you do!
I got so excited when I saw you were thrifting! Two of my favorite things, thrifting and gardening! I say “let’s see what finds me today!” So much fun! Thank you for this awesome video!
I absolutely loved this video! It has re-inspired my interest in antiquing. Have not been antiquing for a very long time! Thank you all for this fun episode!
Linda ,I love watching your channel! You are so inspirational to me. When I go to antique stores, I love to look for antique plant stand, small tables, and old flower pots. I especially love going at Christmas time!!
You are adorable. Love watching your videos. Erin was so sweet and I couldn’t believe that she has grandchildren.!!! She looks 18years old.😀 love her shop and love her and your friendly personalities. I live in N H and Love antiquing. Also 💕💕 Love how antique shops tell stories.💕
Antiquing and thrifting are activities I love to do while traveling. You mentioned the outlet stores in Dillon, Colorado; one of my most favorite antique store is the General Store in Leadville. I shop for fabric, lace, pottery and books, but the experience of the uneven floors, stairs, rabbit warren of rooms and smells of old things gives me joy. Someday I'll make it to Oklahoma City and definitely put this store on my list.
I'd love nothing more than to take you around to my favorite haunts here in Kansas City! I love your style.... thank you so much for taking us shopping with you! 💕
I absolutely LOVE antiquing and going to Estate Sales and oh my you and I have the same taste. I would buy that round table with the different colors that was outside and the one you bought to declutter your topiaries I would use for my smaller potted items. Love that store. You have very down to earth taste. Love it
I enjoyed this special tour, going out of the garden routine was a nice idea, especially in the antique shop is fun and wonderful, and you are the coolest Linda🧡
I always look for frogs for vases, art, pedestals for indoor/outdoor plants, pottery, wall sconce / shelves, light fixtures, lamps. ( I’m a lampaholic ). Funky 70’s art ashtrays. I’ve been collecting since I was 14. I have no business buying anything else. 1 more thing & my house will flip over. 😳
Really enjoyed the tour, I've recently been more interested in buying a vintage item than brand new. Thank you ladies, love from Aurora Colorado, nice treat today!
I would not be wasting time filming that table. I would be loading it in my truck. Load now....film later. What a great find. I am currently on the prowl for cast iron fireboxes and andrions to be used as accents in my potting garden.
OH MY!! A shop full of eye candy! I would have looked for iron items for my garden. Loved the frame with stained glass!! You are blessed to live in an area with shops like this!
I too have a hard time buying new. I just love that collected look with the rich history. Gosh I love that bamboo office table. I’d get it in a heartbeat.
Hi Jennie. It’s lovely to find likeminded souls 👍. I have some old reading books that we used at school 50+ years ago, and am sad that I no longer have the reading books that my uncle used 70+ years ago. I keep my eye out for them 😀
@@jennywa3046 I'm sure my children will sell them in a yard sale when I'm gone, but I love to look at them and read them to my grandchildren, especially when I have one learning to read...
I love your plant stand and all that cool wrought iron. So good that you’re supporting local business. Wish I lived near that store, I’d be there! Loved your outfit too, great color😜
Oh....like you I love the baskets, wooden boxes and furniture are my favorite picks. I so enjoyed the trip to the antique shop with you. Thanks for sharing! I grew up with antiques that were handed down so It's in me to seek out the antique stores. Love um! Great videos!
Antique bird houses, plant stands, old vases, garden animal statues, small tables for outside to put plants on. Bird baths, chandeliers. Outside decorations. Hats for me. And anything I can repurpose for another use.
Had a great time shopping with you today! I have been looking for the perfect silver ice bucket and lace curtains for my kitchen window. Thrifting is one of my newer passions.
Really Enjoyed found it interesting, oh you could not miss the giant Rooster lol. Loved your shoes funny the both of you had a matching peach vibe. Blessings Luv Ontario Canada 🐝
Couldn't agree more, Linda! Everytime I go into an antique store, I am transported back to my childhood and generations past! Talk about nostalgia! I even spotted the Tonka truck! And to see stuff that was made with such quality and craftsmanship! I have an affection for wrought iron too and love your idea of the table to be used for your topiaries. Very much enjoyed this video!

Antique stores and/or thrifting……my list always includes French copper, oriental rugs, small oil paintings, Royal Doulton character jugs, Spode dishes in mostly the older blue and white patterns, iron plant stands, baskets (although the hubs has me on a basket ban), small clear glass cake stands, Waterford Powerscourt pattern stemware, Dansk flatware, interesting table toppers, statuary, vintage jewelry pins, antique Steiffel lamps (I have too many right now and need to get rid of a few…I’m always trying to pawn them off on my kids) plus I’m a sucker for any small bird figurine (although I have too many of those too). I also collect Royal Doulton Bunnykins dishes. I need to purge things as well, so I have to really love it to buy it. Thanks for sharing!
Love love this video!!!!! One of my favourites!!!! It gives people out if the box thinking. I was a person who thought thrifting was gross and now l cant get enough bc of videos like these. Thank you l have thrifted and antiqued so much for my home
I have kept my little school house & wind up clock, which was at the beginning of the store, that my children played with and then my grandchildren played with as well. Keeping those now for future great-grandchildren! In addition, I have the same tall basket which DOES have a lid and which I DID use as a laundry basket! What a great shop! Hundreds of beautiful things. Something like that in my neighbourhood would make me happy and broke:P Linda I have only one suggestion. Sometimes when the owner was in the middle of the sentence you interupted or turned around and focus on something different. I know people sometimes do things like that without even realising so that is the only reason I am writing it:)
