    Ke tokae baandhi delaai
    Hiloki diloki khopa haai re
    Ke tokae nozori lagai
    He brindabon
    Ho hai re go sokhi
    Ke tokae nozori lagai
    He brindabon roso lagai

    Hiloki diloki khopa haai re
    Deura tor nozori lagai
    He brindabon
    Ho hai re go sokhi
    Deura tor nozori lagai
    He brindabon roso lagai
( Kisne hai baandhe ye Ghungraale kaare tere baal ) *2
    OR
( Kisne hai baandhe tere kesh/zulfein ye kaare kaare haai re ) *2
    Kisne hai nazar lagaayi
    He vrindawan
    Ho hai re re sakhi
    Dewar bhi nazar lagaai
    He vrindawan
    Raas lagaai
    Xoru pothare dhaan bunechi
Sita pakhur khaai mor haai haai
    Ho dada deno khedai
    Emono shundor haar dolche golaai
Tranana na re na re tranana na re na
    Mor haai haai
    Ho dada deno khedai
    Emono shundor haar dolche golaai
    Kona dore baandhobo
    Horodhiro jhinga phool ho
    Kona dore kona dore baandhobo
    Lalo komolo phool dhire gomokae
    Rupae dorae bandhobo
    Horodhiro jhinga phool ho
    Kona dore kona dore baandhobo
    Lalo komolo phool dhire gomokae
    Meaning:
Who has tied up your hair in this untidy bun? X2
Who has cast an evil eye on you? X2
    Oh Vrindavan,
    Oh dear,
Who has cast an evil eye on you?
    Oh Vrindavan, you mesmerize.
I have planted some paddy in my little field X2
But the wild birds eat them, killing them all,
    Oh brother, chase them away,
With this beautiful charm strung around your neck X2
Tranana na re na re tranana na re na
    Oh my my,
    Oh brother, chase them away,
With this beautiful charm strung around your neck X2
With what string do I tie this yellow wildflower around your neck? X2
Which string, which string do I tie it with?
The red lotus starts to shine slowly,
With a silver chain I want to tie the yellow wildflowers to your neck X2
Which string, which string do I tie it with?
The red lotus starts to shine slowly,

Papon gets more respect from me because he tries to bring Assamese traditional and folk songs to national stage. Arijit, Kumar Shanu, Abhijeet, none did this. They come/came to bengal to sing bengali songs, but that's it.

How beautiful this song is!!! Im from Bangladesh. This song is just floating around my head over and over again and takes my sleep away. Feels like I can hear it forever. It has a flavour....kind of puré freshness and happiness. Thanks to Papon and other singers as well as musicians. God bless all. Peace and love👍
