I can’t wait to get to that level, I am a late starter but it is what it is, giving it all I got every game and hope I’m good enough to make it to the top
What? flag staright up in the air if keeper comes out of the line during PK? thought you had to flag below waist sideways to indicate foul play by keeper?
TheElectroMeister Good question, if it was a penalty kick and the keeper came off of his line it would be much easier to indicate to the center and spectators that a foul has taken place with the flag straight up and avoid confusion. (DA Referee Illinois)
@@namirthobani6044 While true, the new procedure is as Tzar suggests. Exactly the same signal as when calling for a PK as an AR, flag below the waist sideways.
@@namirthobani6044 Our job is not to communicate with the spectators, our job is to enforce the laws of the game... While I agree the referee has the ability to change the signals, there is no need to do so. And honestly, I would probably argue if a ref cannot adhere to the new guidelines (and is set in his/her way) perhaps he/she shouldn't be officiating
No lol they get paid for the matches that's it. And the game fees aren't very much. I'm pretty sure they even have to pay for their flights to the camp. USSF games like this are for refs that need to fulfill their big egos. College games are where the money is at
A USSF video about the officials? Finally. I love seeing how this works behind the scene (as a USSF official myself).
Raider025 As a fan, the ref is always wrong unless they agree with me.
This is my favorite kinda video to watch now

hows it going now?
US soccer is well drilled! Thanks (UK ref)
I live in Indiana and I’ve played there at Grand Park this year and I won a U-15 state championship there (not on a DA teams but maybe one day)
For any AR referee, I am looking for a new set of lineman flags should I buy nylon or polyester flags???? Thank you!

Yes, but the referee can adjust signals in the pregame confrence
Kyle Cortes exactly signals can be whatever helps the referee make the best call, That is what I was going to say thank you

Gotta work on those delts bro! Otherwise the players will never respect your point!
Video was great until he said..."let's roll."
Do these referees get paid for all that training they go through??

Jordan A So why would someone want to go to these ‘trainings’ 🙄
@@graveselementary To improve as a referee. This would also open the door for them if they wanted to do professional games
What is the worst part will you ever have ever seen
