Single Stroke Roll Drum Fill Workout!

- Had lots of requests for more single stroke workouts/warm-ups, so here you go! This is just the sort of warm-up we’d do at the beginning of a face-to-face session :)
It's a nice simple format - three bars of drum groove, followed by a one-bar drum fill around your snare and toms - in turn 1/4 notes, 1/8th notes, 1/8th note triplets, 16th notes, and 16th note triplets (sextuplets). And repeat!

Why the switch to an e-kit, Mike? I have one but prefer acoustic any day. Please bring the acoustic back! Too many fake "drum kits" around these days.

Thanks for watching Ray. I haven’t switched, I play both. You’ll find plenty of acoustic kit videos on this channel too. Electric kit is at home for practice teaching while not disturbing my neighbours, 2 x acoustic kits at my studio. Cheers.
@@MikeBarnesDrums Understood, Mike. I have an e-kit for the same reason, but only use it during "off-peak" hours to avoid neighbour complaints. Other than that, it's all acoustic all the way!!
