Whoever suggested this has my appreciation!! I have seen the Hu live twice, once in D.C. right before Covid shut everything down, and again last year in Philly. Man o man a more diverse crowd of fans you will never see. They have become so popular that they got to do two Metallica songs in their language on Metallica's Anthology Album!!! They are officially Star Wars Cannon having created a song for Star Wars: Fallen Order "Sugaan Essena". They have done English collaborations with the lead singer of Papa Roach AND Lzzy Hale among others. I fell down the HU rabbit hole years ago and am so glad I did!
Ohhh same I was in their DC concert too. I'm Mongolian and have lived in US 15+ years. I listen to the Hu when I miss home and my grandparents lol. Also Balck Thunder (one of their recent album) is Mongolian version of Sugaan Essena.
4:06 Shireg Shireg is a song about a Mother and Father saying goodbye to their son who is riding off to join “the Horde”, and the advice they give him.
Find a English translation of the lyrics, it’s a very beautiful song, and from my understanding it’s a Mongolian “Lullaby”. For me (after translation) it became my favorite song from the HU, it reminds me of when I joined the Army right after high school, my Mother saying goodbye and giving me advice when I was leaving for Basic Training back in 1983, very good memories, I almost tear up every time I hear it. Mom passed away from cancer back in 1991.
It feels tribal, because it is! This group is the best thing in music for years. Just wonderful!
Its funny you say out of this world, considering the band featured in Star Wars games
This song off their first album and "Mother Nature" off their second album are two of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. I love The Hu so much.
Also Mother Nature ft. LP collab. Is fantastic.
I only discovered this band about a year ago. I love them. They mix very well with my metal play list.
I love your reaction. Nobody really knows how good The Hu is.
yup - a journey - the ultimate road song, just me and my pony, riding across the endless steppes....
Yuve Yuve Yu was my gateway song to The Hu and it's still my favorite! Love how the MV showcases their absolutely gorgeous instruments.❤
Mine was Wolf Totem
@@KageGijutsu Wolf Totem is probably their most popular 😉
@@pamala2112 If you have time, check out Waggaki Band. They are a fusion of traditional Japanese instruments and singing with modern rock. Senbonzakura is a popular song.
From what I understand this is a song actually meant to sooth children. It's a protection song.
If I'm stressed out, I just go to my playlist and select THE HU - Mother Nature (Official Lyric Video). Works every time! 🌲🦅🌊
❤❤❤❤
As a Mongolian i would like to recommend you Young Mo'G. He is a rapper also mixing traditional style with Modern hiphop. 😇😇😇
Also the horse clopping at the end.
Also have you heard Callie Day sing Hear My Prayer?
Have you checked out Beth Hart? “Mama” and “Leave the Light On” are two favorites
It is good it would be better if I could understand the language.
