Most beautiful music ever composed, Chopin was brilliant, he died much to young. This world had a great loss when he passed away. Bless him Lord and may he play for the Angels.

Hello Mr. Barton, I stumbled across your channel recently (one time UA-cam recommended something good) and I want to say that I admire your passion for music and your beautiful family, it almost borders on jealousy. I hope to one day also have a family and that my hobby will be still in my life.

Dear Mr Barton, it's wonderful to see you working your way through Chopin's fantastic nocturnes. Thank you for these beautiful recordings. I have noticed that many artists leave out the posthumously released nocturnes nos. 20 and 21 in their albums of Chopin's nocturnes. I was wondering whether you _do_ intend to record them. They are so beautiful as well, after all. Have a wonderful day. Warm greetings from the Netherlands.

Hi Mark -- yes, as you say, they are so beautiful. I made a stab at N.20 some time back (with a tutorial) but I hope to re-record N.20 in this series of complete Nocturnes in 4K. I also aim to record N.21. Greetings from Thailand to the Netherlands.

re: difficulty? every Nocturne is, in its own way, of equal in difficulty -- and all are extremely difficult for me to play. When I was younger they didn't seem anywhere near as difficult as they do to me now as I am getting old - I feel increasingly like a beginner.
