Hi Mark -- yes, as you say, they are so beautiful. I made a stab at N.20 some time back (with a tutorial) but I hope to re-record N.20 in this series of complete Nocturnes in 4K. I also aim to record N.21. Greetings from Thailand to the Netherlands.

re: difficulty? every Nocturne is, in its own way, of equal in difficulty -- and all are extremely difficult for me to play. When I was younger they didn't seem anywhere near as difficult as they do to me now as I am getting old - I feel increasingly like a beginner.

Incredibly beautiful rendition of this Nocturne - Op. 48 no 2 is first I listen to when comparing different versions of Nocturnes.
