I retired on February 13, 2013, and discovered the young BTS prior to its debut on June 13 of the same year. They thrilled me then and still now.
You can tell how hard they worked and how much they wanted this. I like when BTS and Armys look back on the journey every so often because it's important to see how far they came, especially after huge events like being at the White House.
Yeah Jins always been good at whatever he puts his mind to, but for some reason he's always downed himself when in reality he doesn't seem to make mistakes any more than anyone else does. His singing, his dancing, his writing- when he wants to be he's exceptional. I love his humility though, I think hard work and natural talent can go hand in hand. But yeah this was so cool to watch, they were all badass and i love how in sync they all are- true stars.
I missed this old practice room sm because this practice room with these hard working boys made me stan them in 2013...
It does bring back nostalgia 😭 this may be too old for us, we sadly weren’t army yet! But we remember their 2018 dance practice room fondly 😭💜

The first MV that I've watched is 'No More Dream' and as a pre-debut ARMY, I literally started crying when they released this dance practice. I'm so happy that I've been there with them ever since the beginning and I will never ever going to forget on how I discovered them lol thank goodness for that 'Harlem Shake Challenge' that they did 😂😭

as a 2018 army, this is such a very proud moment to see BTS' videos from the golden days. they are BEASTS. It's jist so sad that I'm not able to witness their debut or knew them early. but as what BTS always say, the day we met them is the day if their debut. I'm so happy I met them and now their hard work really reflects. LOOK AT THEM!!!

My first BTS MV was Blood Sweat & Tears. Ever since then I've been an ARMY. After, I went and watch All their Music Videos. Learnt their names (I didn't stop until I did lol). Even now I remember how each member looked and what they wore. So seeing their past practices makes me very happy.
THIS is why OG ARMYs fell in love with BTS, no one else was doing it like BTS.

I became ARMY in 2017 after seeing their AMA US debut performance of DNA. I was *immediately* hooked, and went straight to YT to find the DNA MV and anything else I could find from them.💜💜💜💜
I THOUGHT my first M/V was Blood Sweat and Tears in 2016 for the longest time because that’s when I consider my Army-versary. Until I REWATCHED the “FBE - UA-camrs React” series (just a few weeks ago) that were so popular back in the day, and finally realized why I constantly felt déjà vu watching Dope, feeling like I had already seen that exact concept before, but never being able to place it.
FBE did a “UA-camrs React to K-pop” episode in 2015, and Dope was one of the videos they showed. I had a whole freak out realizing that THAT was actually my first time ever listening/watching BTS.
My first MV is Idol but I watch it in 2020. But I already know them since 2017 and already listening to their songs because my friend is an Army. And she always recommend some songs of BTS that I should listen. The first song I listened is Just One Day.

I discovered Bts Feb 2016 (that time I'm a broken hearted blackjack ready to leave kpop behind me). I saw their Fire 3:3:3 dance clip in a misheard kpop lyrics fmv and I'm mesmerized by the dancer in the middle, both by his dancing and his expressions that I eagerly sought them out with my clue bow wow wow lyrics 😅 suffice to say I missed sleeping that day bingeing on their mvs, dance practices, music show performances, even their ahl series and by morning I realized I'm already a jimin stan and also an army 😁😁😁

My first MV was N.O and I was around 11or 12 and I remembered was that I saw a recommendation in my feed and saw BTS in and I found them cute and I just started to bing BTS after the MV and became an official army .
The first BTS MV that I watched was "No More Dream" back in 2016 and it was accidentally. I asked my classmate to send me videos (related to school stuff as far as I remember) through bluetooth. As I scan the videos she sent me, she also told me that she accidentally click something along with the videos. Then theres this 7 guys dancing wearing hiphop shirts, shorts, hats and gold necklaces. It was my first time seeing that without any idea who the hell they are. Their faces was not even that clear cause it's 480p (I think) and I was totally impressed by their performance cause they were insanely synchronize. After that incident I asked my classmate who are those guys and started searching about them. ANDDD look were I am now haha I am a 6 year old BTS Stan. I am forever grateful for that accident that lead me to BTS 💜✨

Its Korean lyrics did magic in me, like I don't know what they say that time but my soul recognize the melody. I know it sound cringe but I saw the sign to fight. Later that day after I heard that song I search for english translate lyrics, and this line, "You are shining so brightly, you save me from this pitch darkness" hits different. Something is stoping me from harming myself. And that same day I search for more, and that leads me to my first MV, I Need U. The more I watched them, the more I want to live. They are my savior, from that moment familia I pursue my dreams that time. And that is to live.💜 They were with me through my darkest time, so I promise that I would stay and be there for them too. 💜

Uncanny this is also the time when I was going through a rebellious time at my workplace because of the "pet system," like hell no... I'm not bowing down to them seniors just because they didn't wanna go against the management while putting our integrity as frontliners in the consumer/customer service field in the dumps. JUST NO. Actually my story is quite interesting....I discover bts through jungkook in 2017...suddenly jk's mask singer performance came in my you tube ..and clicked it and watched it and I was like who is this man I need to find him ..i got a huge crush on his voice and also on him too...I search him in Google and got to know that he is a member of bts ...and then after 3 days their song DNA came out ...I screamed...and I again got a huge crush on jk seeing him on DNA...after that I watched clips of him only ...and then I started watching clips of him with his members ...and jinkook was the first and my most fv duo to watch at that time ...feel in love with jin ...and then with all the members...i used to get surprise that how precious souls they are ...and feel in love with all of the members and also with their song ...but jk is still my everything 💜..he holds a special place in my heart ..my first and forever bias ...and jin is my bias wrecker
