@CorinnaDanjou it means "dreams coming to life, becoming true". Flesh is something tangible, something you can touch and feel and a dream is something immaterial. So something that you normally only imagine, becomes something you can touch, like flesh/skin.

While I agree that their live stuff is always amazing, it's difficult to get a live copy with the clarity and fidelity that one would like if they just want to sit down and listen to the music. "Toward the Within", and Pink Floyds "Pulse" album are probably the best 'live' albums I've ever heard. But, that's just my two pennies.

While we all are here living our puzzling lives, none of us will know for certain whether us Humans have really got a Soul or not, whether there is Life beyond Death and whether there is a God or not, so many of us may tend to conclude that Spirituality is just an illusion created by the Human mind. Yet the Dead Can Dance play music that makes "spirituality" somehow feel real, almost tangible, and that seems to tell us that Life after Death does indeed exist.
The track was released on a TMC album but was written/performed by Brendan Perry Lisa Gerrard and as such is not a cover version as some have tried to say.

Reminds much of Edit Piaf with a dose of oriental touch. Strong voice but too noisy to listen much to. Their music is better where the guy sings.

once you've been dead and brought back...it puts a fresh perspective on things....there's universes stacked on universes out there.
