  • Patch 1.000.405 - Mission: Nuke Nursery
    Playstyle: Speed running
This video was meant to have commentary whilst I was playing, but the game fucked me over. So that's why you might see me randomly pause or do some things that don't make sense, but I'll try my best to explain below.
    ######################## - Commentary notes
Strafing run is better than EAT.
There I said it. Now let me add context. Strafing run is better than EAT for the best loadout in my opinion, because an EAT is insanely slow to destroy shrieker nests and spore spewers compared to the strafing run. It doesn't matter if the EAT has range, the strafing run allows you to shoot and run. The EAT requires you to stand. That being said, the EAT is much better at killing chargers and bile titans, but as I showed you in this gameplay. You don't need to kill either. You can easily ignore them.
The difference between no death runs and no stim runs is normally two words.
    Radar & movement.
Both are extremely easy to master and understand.
Movement is simple, keep moving no matter what. Do not stand and fight for more than a few seconds.
Radar. Spot where the enemy is and run the other way.
I explain how to master both easily in the video link below:
    • How to beat bugs easil...
This is my first attempt at soloing the 'Nuke Nursery' mission.
I chose this mission specifically, because it's the hardest bug mission to solo. It's easy to get swarmed, because you have to defend an objective. Meaning you have to stand and fight which is a death sentence for solodivers.
@15:55 - I accidentally use the grenade launcher instead of the incendiary breaker and almost killed myself. Lol.
    Double mech strategy.
Normally, I try to deploy one mech at evac early on, then deploy the second mech at evac once I've finished the mission if I didn't need it (which is 99% of the time). But I didn't do.
Why did I choose the starting position I chose?
I wanted to be as close to extract as possible without landing in a host of bugs to give me time to call in my support gear and to deploy my first mech afterwards.
You can skip the video where the time says 9 minutes left and go to extract.
You'll understand why when you get to that point.
Why do I try to drop the resupply near the drill?
So I can spam stun grenades to stop the enemy from resetting the timer. Although, don't throw too close to it, otherwise it won't work.
    ######################## - Stratagems
Strafing Run - Anti shrieker nests & spore spewers (Also good for softening up chargers and bile titans and killing them too sometimes. Can be used to clear chaff on my tail too)
EXO-45 Patriot Exosuit - Anti-bile titan, charger, chaff and shrieker nests
Grenade launcher - Anti-bug holes from afar and mid tier enemy units. Mini Airstrike.
Shield generator - Protect you from being pinned down by bugs
    ######################## - Equipment
    Armour: SC-30 Trailblazer Scout
Booster: Stamina Enhancement - Increased stamina and stamina regen
Primary: SG-225IE Breaker Incendiary - Anti everything not bile titans.
