Thank you for sharing your adventures. I like the reality of your videos and the lack of scripted choreography. I subscribed many months ago and will watch more when my schedule permits.
By the way, I use the same seasoning when blackening fish in an iron skillet, i.e. the method Paul Prudhomme made popular in the 1980's. I use Tony Chachere's with lemon and either olive oil or butter when cooking fish in foil like in your video.

      Well thank you. Appreciate it!
We just did Lake trout in the cast iron yesterday with that spice. So good. We’ll have to give Tony’s a try next time

I was always fascinated as a kid how silent the grey jays are ,,, and watching them peck at the moose hanging . Lac Des Mille Lac,,, my growing up stomping grounds. haha.
    As always, thanks
    Cheers

I'm glad you followed up with this video. I was hoping you'd give a bit of a review on how that fish ate. I used to catch Brown's frequently while steelhead and salmon fishing in Lake Ontario. I kept a 3 pounder one time and ate it. I didn't enjoy it, and haven't eaten one since. I was wondering what one would taste like that had been eating bugs instead of baitfish like the one I'd eaten. I had a feeling by the nice orange of the meat as Chase was gutting it that it was going to be tasty. Congrats you guys, I bet that was a treat.
