You are absolutely right in your description that it is a poem . It was written by one the greatest poets Amir Khusrow in the love for his Guru(teacher) Nizamuddin Auliya. A really beautiful reaction that's the power of Sufi music it touches the core of your heart . Language is no barrier to love and appreciate art .
This is Sufi music, it will touch your heart, only few can realise this, you are lucky that you can feel it. Good reaction.
this song is highly Hindu phobic. For the same reason this song's performance was stopped in IIT Kharagpur.

Abida Parveen is Queen of Sufi music, she is stunning. She sings mainly ghazals, thumri, khyal, qawwali, raga (raag), Sufi rock, classical, semi-classical music and kafi. She was bestowed Pakistan's second highest civilian award Nishan-e-Imtiaz in 2012 and the highest civilian award Hilal-e-Imtiaz in March 2021 by the President of Pakistan
This song denotes the longing of a devotee for his lord... and that feeling you feel is... one of transcendent universal love we all share with one.... God. You and countless millions are blessed to experience and feel that spiritual yearning ..

Your face shows that how you feel at that time really heart touching I’m a Pakistani but I’m a student and n Australia when ever I go to walk I heard that Sufi kalam I’ll never forget when one of my Aussie friend heard this and he said like I can’t understand but I know how they are feeling what they trying to say. they both are the highest value qawali singers of Pakistan, and there collaboration with Pakistani coke studio produced a real gem. I have heard it hundreds of time and still it gives me the goosebumps.
That was a practice session lots of people didn't know that. They are legends for a reason
Just to update you more over this. It is a poem written by an Indian scholar Amir Khusrow back in 13th Century and that is why you might have noticed hearing his name in this one few times.
Coming to these two, they are legends for a reason and they prove it everytime they have a mic in front of them.
And you, I am glad I came by your channel, loved your feelings towards the music.
P.S - Pakistani music industry well knows how to preserve the original music through decades and present them the way they should be. I am an Indian.

@@MrRahul6464 no it’s not...if anything this says chaap (Muslim Prayer thing) and tillak (Hindu prayer thing) are irrelevant when it comes to love or extreme admiration.
@@kingofdaring since its irrelevant in case of love. Then why Muslim men convert their Hindu wives into Islam in love marriage?
Your reaction is as honest as this song is. Brings tears every time I listen to this masterpiece.
i also had this feeling when i listened to this song first time.
Yes this is Pakistani coke studio actually incredible awesome
you are right about the weird feelings this song brings.... first of all its a sufi song, which means describing one's devotion to god in th form of love ....
the lyrics is 700 years old, written by a famous poet name Amir Khusru...
the composition is a combination of classical raga and sufism.....
both the singers Abida parveen and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan are legends and grandmasters .... not regular singers ....
This song is not from earth ...its one of a kind...plays with elements in your body and mind....
its No Wonder people feel shocked when they listen to this song !!!!
The Queen Abida and the legendary Rahat Fateh Ali khan, best combo ever happened to coke studio and to music lovers.
Why is it so touching?
When a song is written or composed from the depths of soul, it will touch the depth of soul of any sensitive listener!!
Cause true poetry and they sang with the pure depth of soul with true feelings thats why its so touching.... ♥️♥️

What a great reaction and I’m glad you enjoyed it. If you like this, you will absolutely love Rang (another Coke studio production). If you could kindly react to that too!

That's what I thought, Abida has a unique voice too and i just couldnt believe her voice
The female Singer is Queen of Sofi Music 🇵🇰❤🙏
Its sufi Music (Not Sofi) ☺😊
Its sufi not sofi
Godess of Sufi Music
Her name is "Abida Parveen"
Such raw emotions oozing from your reactions! The song became even more moving with your expressions! Also note that the very first word in the lyrics is "Noor" which also happens to be your surname! A humble request to you to react to "Tere Jeya Hor Disda" from Nescafé Basement.
Actually Nur (Noor) is my middle name and i love the meaning of it as it means "light" and as it is one of the 99 names of god. :)
Honestly, i never found any spiritual song or anything close to this song from western world. I feel blessed that i took born in this culture and i know this precious pearl will never exist outside the eastern culture. Those tears are because the words are of gods.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
# This is Qawwali music #
It hits on another level.
This type of song is called Sufi Music, this Genre of music is related to the soul, it is basically to purify the soul also known as soulful music. And anyone can feel the Sufi music as it directly touches your heart and Soul. You can't explain the feeling you get after listening to it, you can just feel it.
This is the best comment. This is so well described.

These both are singer famous in the world and both singer win the many international music awards.
This is the pinnacle of spirituality! If there is a song that reaches further into the spiritual realm, Please let me know. Otherwise, Chaap Tikal will continue to be my jam!
These r so touching cause these voice contact person directly to God...
I have tears in my eyes really. These 2 personalities are Pakistani Urdu classical Sufi songs legends and mentors.
This is the real music it's comes from heart not from mouth
Eventhough I am indian I don't really know the language and meaning
I am just crying ,that is the power of music..
Wonderful to see you could connect with the song on a deeper level. It's a feeling hard to describe, can only be felt. React to Allahu Akbar from come studio and make sure to have CC on. I bet you'll connect to that song too. Stay blessed 😁
It's a beautiful thing to express god through music and that's what Sufi music does. Imagine when music turns out to be a kind of ritual, it takes a divine form, enabling the mortals to make a connection with the etternal. It seems to me that you can capture the essence of music, for your reaction proves it.
Listen the voice feel in your body abida parveen ♥️😭🕊️ magic
Now, that's what we call a 'reaction' Wow.
This lady was overwhelmed with tears because Eastern Culture is God oriented. Western culture is materialistic. Western culture is obsessed with material things..money, status, being No 1. Eastern Culture is about about rising above these temporal things.
There is a gulf of difference between these cultures. Our music reflects our divine connection. Even atheists will cry to this song. It is a direct connection to God. Whether he is Allah, Rama, Jesus or Jehovah. Great song. Abida Parveen rules.....Western people need to dump materialism. No wonder they are lost in the midst of plenty. So many with nothing..but the promise of alcohol. This is NOT a rant or diatribe about Western culture.
There are good elements to it...like good work ethics, punctuality that is hard to emulate, respect for individuality and freedom of expression, and the freedom to chart your own destiny. But, at the same time, there is an emphasis on materialism, apathy, ridiculing peoples' religious beliefs without regard for their feelings. Eastern culture is NOT utopia or a panacea for what ails the world. But it IS a culture where a guest is king, where people show affection and are very tactile, and it is rooted in a belief in God. And all of this finds expression in music. That's why it produces an outpouring of feeling. I hope this does not offend people but I am sure it will offend someone out there. You know opinions are like assholes....everyone has one.
What a narrow-minded and uncultured comment.
@3:28 only a true heart and a pure soul can feel it.. You are listening to some 700 years old lyrics about devotion & spirituality written by the one 14th-century Sufi mystic poet, written in the Braj Bhasha (language) and moreover, being sung by two living legends. Rahat and Sufi Queen Abdia Parveen
This lyrics was written almost 800 years ago Amir khusro still give me goosebumps.
Nice reaction. Can you react Tajdar-e-haram by Atif Aslam from Coke Studio too ❤️😍👍

If you got the feeling and took you to the another level you must listen and react to the song Wohi khuda hai from Cole studio by atif Aslam with the captions on!
Coke studio *
Fun fact: this was ment to be a practise session, and every one nailed it so perfectly that the final version was never recorded.
Also, since Muslims offer namaz(prayer) 5 times a day, every day, they get a mark on their forehead.. precisely where Hindus put the tika/tilak while prayers.. and since religion being core of one's identity.. the song means "O God, chaap(mark) / tilak, you snached everything and made me yours when I saw you" so the translation that i lost everything is perfectly expressed
Their massive in Pakistan! And the gentleman has a famous father who was known world over! For his singing too!
This something purely nature vocals!
This thing is opposite to auto tone!
Best reaction on chap tilak so far.... 💯🔥 Plz react to tajdar e haram by atif aslam with captions 🙂
When music transcends language, time, culture, genre etc. and gives you an experience like this it can only be divine. Truly this masterpiece of a composition leaves you having had a spiritual experience.
Seda your unshackled submission to the piece and the ensuing reactions were sincere with child like honesty, most beautiful.
What blows my mind the most is that this composition is from the 14th century.
Both Abida Parween and Ustaad Rahat Ali Khan are two legendary singers of Pakistan , when I say singers that means true singers . They are singing this song in an old urdu, a ghazal of Ameer khusru. The same urdu is the national language of Pakistan.
