This episode reminds me of my relationship. I did what Khun Neung did to the girl when she was extremely hurt. We had a big age difference too. And I was fucking supposed to be the older one and the more mature one. I had the same insecurities as Khun Neung. I hated myself back then and I destroyed one good thing that I had in my life because I thought I wasn't worth it. And nothing was the same after that. When Khun Neung says no one's worthy of her that's bullshit. She actually thinks of herself unworthy of love. Self hatred does sabotage everything good in your life. This show hits so close to home, bro.
It's funny you brought up Arnueng being the submissive one because Faye was talking about how hard it is for her play the part. Especially Anueng topping her! You have to watch some of there behind the scenes stuff while waiting for the second half!

I'm about to type a whole essay😂 but there's so much that can be dissected in this story. Big Nuengs anger has been building up since she was a kid and she's held onto it all this time, she resents her Grandma and blames her for everything that's wrong in her life; her sisters passing, the fact that she felt like she had no choice but to move out, the fact that she's broke and can barely pay rent, depending on her sister for money, her superiority complex that is the direct cause of her loneliness, being bad at love, etc. But a lot of her resentment is also just a front, like she's gone this far and she feels like going back on her words now would mean all the bad things that happened never needed to happen in the first place, almost like an admission of guilt to the thing that's really bothering her. I think she feels responsible for her sisters death but puts the blame solely on her Grandma because accepting her guilt is like admitting defeat, but after her grandma passed she still ended up in the mental space she had been trying to avoid all this time, which is that her not accepting her lineage and leaving is the beginning of a downhill spiral for everyone in her life, maybe she feels like she should've just stayed and been the fall guy so that everyone else's life would've been easier. I say subconsciously because I do think on the surface she was naïve in thinking she had time, her grandma was like this unmovable force in her life, to think that she could ever be weak or vulnerable was probably incomprehensible for big Nueng until she was faced with reality. Episode 6 is by far the best one, and it really sets the tone for S2.

For KN she doesn’t see it as leading AN on because she’s already decided they are going to be together, when the time is right. When that is she doesn’t know she just knows right now no one would approve as everyone thinks she only sees AN as a kid. I haven't read the book or saw any spoilers but I'm worried by her saying she should've married Chet that Arneung will try to be with him. It's like she gave in to have one night of happiness before she accepts the life her Grandmother wanted for her.

They changed it a little bit from the book, but Folk sitting with Anueng when Nueng showed up was on purpose because Nueng didn't take Anueng's calls, and it worked like a charm because then Nueng takes her to the library herself to study. The library scene itself is not in the book at all. To get what happens in the library, readers of the novel have to work much much harder. lol That little scene was purely for the series. Some of their revisions to the novel make less sense. The part where Anueng asks her mother if she can date women is one of them. In the novel the mother just says "so long as the woman you date is your Auntie Nueng...because I know she would never say yes". This line gives much better sense of how and why the mother thinks the ways she does, than "I don't know, ask Ar-nueng".
55:27 I think this is the first time I've seen you react like this almost like you want to punch something or someone. 😂😂 Thank you for another great reaction. See you in Season 2! 😁
I actually think the book scene with the doctor is even worse. Anueng is STUDYING with friends and she forgets the time, so she hurries to Khun N. Khun N asks this doctor (her ex) out to dinner , KNOWING that the doctor has a GF and then when they get infront of Khun N's building she asks the doctor to act as if she is interested in her romantically. I love your reactions bc you actually really think about what the character went and is going through. You are so spot on with your understanding of these characters. And yes I was one of the viewers who thought that first ep was enough. But then I watched the 2nd and thought I have to read the book and decide if I want to continue this story. And only after understanding through the book what is ahead of us did I watch the rest. I have to say the show is in my opinion much better (I think partly bc of translation). I think that our main leads are great actresses, who lift up the story so much. This comment is getting too long sorry for my rant. PS: the doctor in the book is the doctor in the Affair (new GL we are getting)
The beautiful doctor is technically Khun Neung's ex in the book( well actually more like friends with benefits because they weren't actually together the Dr was in love with her childhood friend), Dr wanviva there is a series coming out about her story soon on another channel the series is called affair
Little Neung is doing what lovers do for each in time grief. Big Neung reached out to her love for love and affection. This is what lovers do. It’s the promise made to and the problem of the parents may have that come into play.
Good evening Vicky. Thank you so much for amazing reaction video 🎉. Blank series season 2 is going to be Saturday May 18th. Can’t wait for it. You’re reaction videos the best 😊
In the novel she planned all of it so that Aneung will get jealous. the beautiful doctor is with her Bf too. But they talk they will pretend that they are sweet. Hahahaha
I agree that forgiveness would set yourself free.... but I completely understand khun nuengs reaction when meeting her grandma for the last time... She had wanted to reconcile, I believe that's why she showed up, but she needed closure and assurance that her grandmother wasn't going to continue taking shots at her life... she clearly had more than enough of it... just being around her grandmother was triggering... I don't think she should feel any guilt. It really wasn't her fault that they ended on bad terms.
Are you gonna react to them off screen? I would love for you to react to their workshop where they rehearse the love scene and their "reaction" to ep 1 which is not a reaction just them flirting for 30 minutes hahaha
I too felt like it was not anueng's place to dictate khun nueng as if they are exclusive, like as though they are dating. They had one kiss n never talked about it, she said i love you once that too thinking anueng was asleep, that doesnt auslify or say couple/exclusive... It was not a place for anueng to shout at khun nueng like that... Because at the end of the day even khun nueng was frustrated snd hurt because she has prepared dinner for the little nueng, something that she will never do because of her pride otherwise. That is why shr went out to have dinner with someone else. She thought that aneung wont come to eat with me when i have done a lot to prepare food fr her like little one wanted. So khun nueng was jealous n hurt and she went out. People do get irrational when things hit their emotions, its not about age.
You have a point ..... but also she had a right to lash out, because Khun Neung keeps on hurting her with her words and actions, but still tells her she doesn't want her to go abroad with her mom,or reconcile with a portrait of her ,cook for her ,become a mentor/tutor for her and finally kiss her back . Khun Neung isn't and never does those things for anyone which Anueng is very much aware of it ,she was able to see Khun Neung for who she is ,so she's somewhat bound to feel that they have something exclusive or feel special...look at her parents as well, they didn't get to experience that side of Khun Neung . And according to the book she didn't show up because she was caught up with group assignments and didn't check the time ,but she for sure was going to come and eventually came when Khun Neung called her . Throughout the story Khun Neung does majority of the hurtful things
Okay here we go. She doesn't know yet assuming she hasn't watched this..I did warn her this is messy..Okay we are all seated lets get ready for tears!!! 0:01
I saw somebody said (about psycology) that many people do have sex after a bad thing happens to them bc it releases an hormone that relieves pain and sadness and brings happiness so it make sense to do it then

Saw the trailer; WOW
Can't wait for it.
Little Neung is doing what lovers do for each in time grief. Big Neung reached out to her love for love and affection. This is what lovers do. It’s the promise made to and the problem of the parents may have that come into play.
Thank you ❤️❤🎉
🥰🙏🏼
Good evening Vicky. Thank you so much for amazing reaction video 🎉. Blank series season 2 is going to be Saturday May 18th. Can’t wait for it. You’re reaction videos the best 😊
WHAT?
Here I'm thinking it was May 4; sitting patiently for the notification 😂
So it's 2 more tortures weeks?
Finally.... after 85 years
Here I am at 10 pm watching your video and crying laughing because your reaction at 33:55 cracked me up like hell😂
My face gives away everything I’m thinking 💀😅
@@vickyreacts riiight, you were like "What the f... is wrong with you?!"😂
In the novel she planned all of it so that Aneung will get jealous. the beautiful doctor is with her Bf too. But they talk they will pretend that they are sweet. Hahahaha
Okay let's wait for the season 2 pls be happen soon
15:45 I laughed so hard!!! 😂
I was out of pocket with that one 😬🤣🤣🤣 I half censored myself though lol
You're on point with the straight line theory because Annueng IS the dominant one and Khun Nueng is submissive. 😂
I love hearing that you feel like you had a different experience with this episode because of me ❤️ I will react to the vlogs because you asked 🫶🏼
13:30 this is me… I would fold like a chair! 😊
I didn’t get the hint until now and I’ve watched this 20x 😂 I just understood the hint while I was too busy gay panicking 😂😂😂
What hint?
@@vickyreacts I forgot, I have to watch it again 🤣🤭😊
Are you gonna react to them off screen? I would love for you to react to their workshop where they rehearse the love scene and their "reaction" to ep 1 which is not a reaction just them flirting for 30 minutes hahaha
I cannot wait for the season 2 to come out 😢
I think that Nueng is going to with her Mom to the America. And come back engaged or something...to flip Arnueng out
Always love ur reaction bro. Always making me laugh with ur jokes in between 😆
🥰 thank you! I’m glad you like my jokes. I hope I’m not ruining the moments in the show 😅
@@vickyreacts Don't worry a bit.ur jokes make it all the more fun. Keep going. 😆
if Faye is a red flag, i am VERY colour blind 🥰🥰
Emotionally, KN is the same age as AN because in many ways, her emotional growth was stunted by her grandma. 52:28
Where can you read the novel?
"What...what...what.."😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Flabbergasted I tell you 😂
I too felt like it was not anueng's place to dictate khun nueng as if they are exclusive, like as though they are dating.
I promise I don’t watch what I react to prior to reacting to it. If I ever do I will tell you guys. I hope you enjoyed the reaction ❤️
Season 2 will be coming out 5/18.. can't wait
Not the juice disclaimer😂😂😂😂😂
If you are going to react 23.5 then I must say it's more than worth it..
Girl I'm dead 15:57 💀😂😂
I’m glad some people got this joke since I can’t explain it further because it’s inappropriate 😬🤣
ไอรอคุณยุนะรีบมาทำรีแอคให้ไอดูเร็วๆนะ
