An inexorable part of life is darkness. It's an important one too. For it's in our darkest moments that we realize the value of living. It's said that no man experiences greater regret that the moment they step off a ledge and cant feel the ground beneath them. I wonder what Dashes take on it would be? Damn good song.
Listening to this in a playlist in the background, and as soon as I heard it, I recognized your voice immediately. This song carries on your unique style
Really nice exploration of a dark place. That's our job as songwriters and storytellers - to go to those dark places, and turn on all the lights. I think this song sends a positive message - it's universal - anyone can identify with the feelings. Sometimes songs about the dark places help some folks get through them better. Another good one - and very well done.
A fine track to end the year with. This song felt like something from Lost in Translation and yet, I felt like this was very emotional and oddly enough made me look back at my past to make me decide, My dark times may trouble me but I always have something that shines to cheer me up. Fantastic work, Luna Jax.
I love it, and it came at a perfect time. I'm reading Appledashery on Fimfiction, and this song. . . . It fits so, SO well. If there was to ever be some sort of animated adaptation of that story, like a web series or something, I would hope they would use this as the theme song.
Aw, man! Great song, but too dark to add to my playlist and memorize like so much of Jax's other stuff. Hope Dashie figures out her crap and chooses to stay with us. Lack of hope can be bloody 'orrible.
The song seems like a 21 gun salute (kinda). It speaks of loss yet has an odd upbeat to it. I guess what I mean is that this songs sounds like a final self-sacrifice, giving up your life in some battle for a cause. With a bang. A willing final stand if you will.
Luna Jax, I wanna be the annoying individual that comments something completely irrelevant to the video or conversation, on a comment that got a reply from the video creator. Just so I can attempt to get your attention though it will just make you and the other commenter mad and annoyed.
+Bristina Talman I couldn't do that. This song isn't meant to end as it is only a contemplation of an end. Thanks for taking the time to comment though. I do appreciate the feedback :)
Luna Jax, your bandcamp says that you are from Salt Lake City. Are you LDS? If so you are the second brony artist I have found that is! The first was 4everfreeBrony.
Those harmonies

Damn good song.
+Hallow Nocturne You should write songs or poetry. You write beautifully.
Only in this fandom on these heartfelt songs do we hear these kind of comets that are just soo amazing

Oh man, I am already in love with this song
Really nice song. I know this one for a year now, maybe exactly one year, and it still makes me feel somehow I can't describe. Thank you for this

Fantastic work, Luna Jax.
Everyone has their dark moments. You've captured that bleak feeling here, an encapsulated soul.
Beautifully done.
OMG THAT synth background is so good reminiscent of pink Floyd's echoes
All of your songs just keep getting better and better, the consistency in quality is just outstanding!

I like this song. Which is interesting, because this song talks about the way I felt in the summer of 2011.
I suppose it's not really accurate though to say this this song is not a cry for help. It's simply not YOUR cry for help.
+Alex Fotland I like the way you think :)

I got a bit confused for a minute.
"Wait, this voice sounds familiar. Reminds me of Victory's Mine."
...
"Oh. This IS Josh LeVitre."
+clutchedbyanangel Hi, my name's Josh LeVitre :)
You wouldn't happen to have an instrumental version of this song, would you? I'd love to cover this.
+PatchOfStars I've added a link in the description
Did you cover it?
Damn this rythm is awesome... 7/8 and 5/8? Or did i get it wrong ?
+Mealynn Kraffel nailed it!

I don't know why I wasn't subscribed ;)
Awesome voice! I'd love to hear you cover some of johnny cash's music,
+alta lector You're not the first person to tell me this.
oo, 7/8? The 12 string is cool, and it's pretty as always.
+BluNoseReindeer Yep, 7/8 and 5/8 :)
What are the chords for this masterpiece? If you don't mind sharing, that is.
Am C G D
Um... yeah. That's... a little too close to home there.
wow.
A faint "pound" or "thud" at the end would have taken this song miles.
+Bristina Talman I couldn't do that. This song isn't meant to end as it is only a contemplation of an end. Thanks for taking the time to comment though. I do appreciate the feedback :)
Entirely too relatable.
No comments in 5 years? Weird
