For cold bond adhesion rubber/steel pulley shell typical adhesion is 9-12 N/mm. Some applications done under controlled conditions in a factory can achieve higher adhesion than this but often application with the pulley installed on the conveyor with application in less than ideal conditions the adhesion can be much lower. While cold bond lagging does work in many applications it is extremely variable and dependent on may factors such as temperature, humidity, dirt, dust, worker training/skill, and time from application to operation ( cold bond adhesive requires at least 24 hours to reach full strength). There are many instances of cold bond lagging failing in the field and Hot Vulcanised or Direct Bond application is the preferred method for mine sites that cannot afford any lagging de-bonding failures.
@@elastotec173 You answered very correctly, and you are also an expert in conveyor belt repair, but our cold vulcanized products are ready to run in 12 hours, no need to wait for 24 hours, and our rubber sheets all come with a CN half vulcanized layer, which eliminates the step of sanding the sheets, and makes the work of splicing the sheets faster.
Does this type of coating is suitable for elevator head drum since high speed rotating ?
Do you have picture of elevator drum? You can email me: lizhe@ramimtech.com
Is this ceramic coating?
Yes
Metal to rubber sheet adhesion value ?????( in ....kg/25mm)
