My goodness this was amazing! I won’t lie I got chills down my spine when Unit 01 went berserk! The impacts, the smoothness, the drawn effects! Everything was fantastic! Amazing work Dank this is easily one of the best Evangelion Stop Motions to come out on UA-cam! I feel kind of bad for Rei though.

hi it's me one month later i have been watching that opening punch on repeat because it's one of the cleanest and most satisfying examples of pose-to-pose animation i have ever seen FLAWLESS use of animation principles, i can't stop watching it
the fact that it's essentially just two poses makes it work INCREDIBLY well in such a short space of time you have too few frames available for a detailed animation, so you kept only the necessary parts- the anticipation and the follow-through, with a mere 2 in-between frames tying it all together it sells the punch so much better than a hyper-realistic 60 FPS AI frame blended animation ever could
Great work man the coreography is great, the sets are amazing, the Camara movements are smooth, the Camara angle is great. Love the handrawn animation. Great job
That was awesome. Really well done and a very unique style. I’d say while the fight itself was great the set was a little lacking and could use work. I think a better camera and frame rate would also benefit your animations. Great work
Set designs have never been a speciality of mine... I don't have a lot to work with lol Also, I do all my animations on my phone. Its the most affordable option for now, but I may look into a stopmotion computer animating software & a top notch camera. Dragonframe is what Im shooting for 🙏
