This game looks dope, I love this era with tons of shooters releasing quite everyday, a lot of gems 🔥
Nightwave: Batman, but with guns. 🦇
He might be based off of the Shadow. Look him up when you have the chance. Bob Kane and Bill Finger blatantly plagiarized/ripped off many aspects of The Shadow and other pulp heroes for Batman.
@dt11846 pulp detectives like the Shadow and Spider sold well at the time. Comics have been following trends since the beginning. Not saying every comic was inspired by a fad but a good few debuts linked up with pop culture before they evolved into their own thing.
Holy crap Nightwave is real. And presumably one of many of these ACE heroes.
I think Tommy used to work on these docks. Up until the union went on strike. He's been down on his luck. It's tough.
6.28 blooebloegagagagaga 🤣🤣. Always amazing how you find all secrets and keep the kills entertaining !
As much as I do love this game, I do have one major complaint. Not enough enemy types! I'm pretty sure we only get three basic varieties in this first episode. Goons with fists, Mooks with pipes and Hoods with switch blades with occasional variants that also carry guns or molotovs. While I'm sure we'll get a few more types in later episodes, we could also use more variants for the ones we have such as different weapons. Goons with brass knuckles, Mooks with baseball bats or wrenches, Hoods with stilettoes or strait razors and so on as well as enemies carrying multiple different gun types. The devs might want to think about doing something like that for a later update.
*Mook takes a magnum bullet to the face, he shrugs it off and taunts you to shoot again.*
Fascinating Game
The graphic style is cool, but the combat and enemy AI is some of the wonkiest shit I've ever seen...
Game looks fun, but I don't like that the story is turning into some Watchmen rip-off
Max Payne: The Brooklyn riverfront was a maze of rusty containers, sharped boned cranes looming up from the snowstorm. On a night like this you couldn't help but think of the dark army of dead men, sleeping with the fishes, cement shoes in line.
