And yes, it’s really dark, especially for a band that’s mostly alternative pop-rock, and made the constant focus of jokes about how “soft” and basic they are, but a lot of people who have known anyone taken through violence, especially gun violence likely has had these same thoughts to some degree, that’s a given.
Say whatever you want about Nickelback, whether it be they aren't hard rock enough or too mainstream. These guys rock and this song w/Dime's solo are the signs of true respect and for that reason they are worthy of mine.

I guess why everyone hates Nickelback lies within the fact that they're music is not generally heavy and they think it is. Also the singer's arrogant. But they've had some really nice songs over the years and the singer's voice is sick. Have you heard the cover of sad but true? Sick vocals man. Here as well.
