Oda is wayyyy too good at this. He made us so frustrated and angry at this one dude, and then POP! The build up to the frustration relief, the vengeance - too damn good.
It is ok to get angry with some characters in the series, this is an amazing example of how Oda builds his protagonists and antagonists to be equally loved and/or hated. The way you react to the scenes never dissapoint me, i just can`t get enough of how you see all of one piece. I am truly wishing to see your next reactions, because as you have been telling, this arc is really making you stay in the edge of your seats with a lot of feelings, and it will get even better =D .

its not fatal but i think the reason why they treating that hachi's about to die is because if by some other universe that luffy and the crew wont fight back it means hachi will be a slave.. cd wont kill him, he said he caught a fishman, but i can see them not caring if their slaves are half dead
