Parazail dont forget the "lower case r" gun it has different words shot out on top of saying bullet for each special bullet you have which also expands the clip of the gun as a result. Hutt did an episode where he had the Ghost bullet and Explosive bullet and he mowed down everything.

In case you don’t know, the weapon is called “Casey” as a direct reference to the poem “Casey Up To Bat”

Its actually kind of all of these. The bat in Earthbound is named that after the poem, as is the tmnt character probably. However, the bat in the game is a reference to the bat in earthbound. Therefore, it's kind of a reference to all three.

the devs wanted good weapons in every rank. also the casey is slow and close range, with average reload time and tiny clip size. so it does kind of make sense that its a d rank

Casey is a perfect example of a non-OP powerful weapon. Huge damage, bullet-blocking, and a synergy, but there is one HUGE drawback:
It's a baseball bat. You are literally bringing a bat to a gunfight.

These were good times! I never had the chance to play this game when it came out and for the longest time I didn't. But recently I started playing and have already gone threw 436 runs in no time and have even got my first OP gunslinger run with clone that took me 2 hours to complete. This game is what I love and hope will be more over in the future. You huts make this super fun game even more fun than it is!!!

Hey Hutts I'm curious about something. Have you considered using some kind of cheat engine to make custom challenges on EtG? I saw this one guy on UA-cam ("uidsea" was the channel name) and he used something like a cheat engine to do challanges suggested by his viewers. Just wondering if you would want to try that too.
those videos are so terrible. they arent even challenges. he did one where he gave himself a rainbow chest every floor. that is the exact opposite of a challenge. i dont hate uidsea but that series was a joke

Careful Iteration - If the player has Armor of Thorns, Shotgun Full of Hate, Nail Gun, or Eyepatch, Casey becomes spiked and fires a spread of 6 nails each time it is swung. When an enemy is hit with Casey they will become dark red and take damage over time.

I saw the die enemy roll a 0 for the first time yesterday. He flew gracefully through the air as I saw a few years fall from his blob face. He landed and died with a thud. I never felt so bad for an enemy.

If you have Casey and armor of thorns, shotgun full of hate, or nail gun ( anything with nails) Casey has nails in the bag and shoot out a few projectiles. I’m pretty sure it’s damage is upped too. Maybe a status effect too? Not to sure. I love the combo though. It’s super amazing. I killed Mindflayer without taking damage.
in the rat room he could have just straight up had infinite blinks with about a 2 second space in between using that active item he left on the floor that detonates every explosive in the room because he could have just spammed it
