“Hey, lighten up, jerk!” Those words didn’t obtain their current meaning until the 1950s. To the people of 1885, Marty said, “Hey, light a lamp, pull!”
Though I love all the versions of Biff, Mad Dog was my favorite. He was the only one who was actually a threat! I think he stole the show in this movie!
One thing the Tanans have in common; they’re all a bunch of selfish snobs. Biff only acts nice because he is afraid of Marty’s family after getting his butt kicked twice. We root for a good villain. Am I right?
Yep. The comics and cartoon take it to hilarious extremes: Literally every person in the Tannen bloodline is a dimwitted murderous bully, yet somehow they have descendants.
@@zero-z4551 Eh, it's not like evil/stupid people can't have families. Biff probably found some woman willing to be as subservient as Alternate Timeline Lorraine acts and gave birth to Griff.

You know, they could have avoided the rest of the movie if someone had just told the Marshal that Tannen had tried to shoot someone. Of course, that might screw up the timeline too much.
I saw the deleted scene were Marshall Strickland was killed by Maddog......It was cold so I can see why they left it out of the theatrical release.....
This conversation at the dance party that Maddog Tannen was talking about robbing some places and talking about finishing the fight what basically got Maddog Tannen and his friends arrested right?
I have fantasized that if I could remake the first movie, I would have Marty play “Start Me Up” by The Rolling Stones instead of “Johnny B Goode” by Chuck Berry.
@@gcHK47 That might be cool but if it's a modern remake, Doc would be a baby boomer and a teenage kid today would travel back to the 90s and invent Smells Like Teen Spirit. "Hey Kurt! It's your cousin! Marvin Cobain! You know that sound you're looking for?"
@@BookshelfQBattler That wouldn't be a bad idea. "tomorrow we're robbing the pine city stage" LMAO if only all criminals were that dumb 🤣
That's why they got arrested by the Deputy Marshall who said "get him out of that shit." And Buford shot Marshall Strickland on a deleted scene.
Sky: Go watch Judge Judy to see Dumb and Dumber - still in this day and age we have VERY dumb criminals 😀😀😀
Today, criminals are just as dumb. They put it on social media.

If this was made today all the characters in 1885 would be talking like that, with a heavy usage of current day pop culture references
And they all acted it out great. With Wilson looking mean and confused simultaneously 😂

Biff from part 2 was a pretty big threat as well.
Did he hang anyone within 5 minutes of appearing? 😁

The ZZ Top moment, Tannen's character performance. Especially that straight face "hunt you down and shoot you like a duck." Just love this movie.
