Thank you for braving the Heatwave. Always a pleasure to stroll along with you Sanpo you always seem to find the most interesting of locations to film : )
Intriguing walk. Had forgotten how much massive concrete was used to rebuild around the Royal Festival Hall. - ironic to have an exhibit ‘Amongst the Trees’ when there were barely any to be seen.
very nice walk in Waterloo 👍 this really brought back memories, I attended my graduation ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall and one of my friend live in the townhouse area you walked about at the beginning of the video, I really like the brutalist exterior of the hall
Thanks for sharing your stories! I didn't know you used to live in London Kevin. You are lucky to have a friend lives in the townhouse! It looks so cool.
Hello Sanpo Those Georgian row house where cool. Did you notice all the old cars out front of the houses. Three old Citroen's all in a row. You think they where left over from a movie filming. Our you enjoying the warm weather? Take care Chris and Sandra if Canada.
Oh yes I noticed the lovely Citroen's cars. I assumed they were owned the residents. I am enjoying the sun with a beer when I can. Hope you are enjoying your summer as well. Thank you Chris and Sandra, take care too.
Those streets to the east of Waterloo road were very rundown and scruffy at one time, they have now been nicely gentrified. It looks as if some classic car enthusiasts live in the area, judging by the old Morris Minor's and Citroen's in the street. It looks so strange seeing the entrance to Waterloo station so quiet, with so few people, it's usually so busy there anytime of the day.
Thanks Sanpo Stroll for showing people who don’t know the city, parts of London that are not tourist hot spots. Those simple yet lovely Georgian Terrace houses were destroyed in their hundreds in the bad old days of the 60’s and 70’s only to be replaced by brutalist high rise buildings that are now the eye sores of London and where, given the choice, no one wants to live. . Btw, the brutalist movement didn’t start until the mid 60’s (not 50’s) and lasted to around the early 80’s.
What a beautiful and peaceful walk!
Beautiful walk on a hot day in London!
Thank you GST, Oh it was a hot 🔥 day!
Love walks in the Southbank area.
Thank you for braving the Heatwave.

Hi John, yeah Waterloo station should be the busiest station in the UK but it was very quiet.
Amazing.
Great walk keep going on awesome 👏
Thank you so much 👍
Wonderful video!!! Thanks for sharing!! 81 likes and watched full..stay connected new friend 😍😍
Thank you 🤗
Roupell Street: Watch out for it in the new James Bond film when it finally gets released. I watched them filming it there back in July 2019.
Thank you for the information Phil, good to know. I look forward to watching the new 007 film!
Nice
Lovely ice cream weather video, what's the name of the park at the beginning?💙🚶👀🇬🇧
It’s a backyard of St John’s Church, Waterloo ⛪️
@@sanpostroll2107 cheers
very quiet place. is it still lockdown in the area? the video as before, from classic to modern. very nice to see 🚶😷
We are easing the lockdown, but yes this area was still quiet. But I saw many people in the park after filming 😅
04:36 A lot of retro Citroen stops. Is the owner together? I'm interested!
yes, it felt like taking a step back in time. The car window was open so I guess the owner was somewhere nearby?
Sympa les Citroën DS 19

Hi Paul thanks for notifying me, it's not 50's my mistake! I will change the description!
