The REX cover is very versatile. I have 2 balls with it: Night Road and VEBO. I've used both balls with surface changes from 1500 to 5000 +shine depending where I'm bowling and what the pattern is. This new ball you are reviewing looks so matched up for you Louis, glad you will be throwing 2 and that they work at 2 different houses. I dream of that kind of simplicity with a 3 ball bag I can take anywhere. If only.

I like how you show the two different centers to show the flexibility of the ball motion. I have been struggling with a choice though. My game 1 is usually magic gem. Then game 2 the lane usually allows me to use the phaze 2. I can usually shoot close to or above 200 if I am executing my shots (which isn't as common as I would like). However, I usually struggle in game 3 because I have hy road and hy road pearl (in 14 lbs) and I feel like I have to slow it down too much to consistently be near the pocket. I've been wondering if it would just be better to go with a VEBO, Attention star, iq ruby, the road, or now this one. I still don't understand different strengths of coverstocks super well yet.

The A.I. Core is the real deal. I through a Summit and an Absolute Power. My in-between in a Journey that I love, but you can hear the difference between the A.I. Cores and the non-A.I. Cores.

Why are you referring this ball to be a thunder line ball, just because the original was? What about the IQ line? They’re also low diff and both use R2S covertock which is equivalent to the thunder line balls also. Same same
