Woodturning Another Colorful Night Lamp

- Welcome to today's project. I made another night lamp from the same table leg, which I made the first one with. I tried experimenting with the colors, pouring the resin at different angles. At night the lamp makes a really nice atmosphere.

This is amazing. I don’t know anything about wood turning, I just like the noise and watching you work. However, this project really spoke to me. I could get into this.
You should totally get into woodturning! I would recommend buying a harbor freight mini lathe for a beginners’ lathe. It’s a very fun hobby

Some people in the comments are saying you should have put a diffuser on the LEDs, but I think this looks cool as is!! The dot effect is neat and different.

That's a nice lamp, thank you for the video.
Just an idea, is it possible to do the lamp with the centre hollow such that battery can be placed in it, and only a switch is on top. Thought it would make the lamp cooler with no wires coming out.

You need to put it in front of a mirror or on electric lazy Susan so that we could see the whole thing. It is a very clever idea for a light and I think it’s great. Take care and stay safe.
I think you should try to bury the diodes deeper, so that they don't produce the dotted effect.

Strangest thing...I have watched about 15 videos on this channel so far...and one time I thought: 'This guy looks german'
Weird, cos only the hands are visible here.
And just now I saw the bag of pigment said 'Grün'. Green. And so I go to check out the origins of the channel and it says Germany. That is so crazy to me. How? I mean, how did I know?? I really don't know. It's not like us Germans have a secret tell, do we?😅
It is not maintainable. The LED strip should be passed inside a transparent tube, instead of pasting it directly on the internal axis. By this way, it would be possible to replace faulted strip in the future. It should work like spread electric wires inside the wall.

I don't like this type of lamp that the lights are stuck inside the resin. Well, it's beautiful anyway.

Lovely lamp. However, the LEDs should have been covered with a diffuser for a uniform light. The dots visible when lamp is lit kill its beauty.
