That is awesome! At least someone has some riding happening! I just saw the extended range and it shows 6th-12th Feb to be much above normal for most of the north and Canada on eastern half of continent! Man o man cant get a break.
Nice vids of hanging snow..awesome. Most Wisconsin trails are closed. Can't remember a winter this bad.. been riding since the 70's. All storms have gone south. Hopefully it turns around. Cheers...
I hear ya! Right now things are looking great but forecast now is much milder and staying near or above freezing for 14 days or so, and some rain too. So the lakes here will not be safe for awhile and many of our trails will likely remain closed until we get another blast of arctic air in here....man this sport is getting harder every year. Makes me think about heading to California in a Tesla for winters more and more. Cheers!
Hey Mike!! It finally looks like Muskoka should in winter, however with the rising temps and rain in forecast, this fluffy lake effect type snow will settle fast. And lakes locally are gonna need more cold nights then these mild ones forecast. Locally our bush trails need several FEET of snow typically to get them opened up, not to mention the swamps and creeks. My local club(HGR) has not even started work or even opened the gates, sad start to winter here. It may be over before we even get started. We will likely head to Qc. for the free trail pass weekend to get some good miles on finally. Cheers brother!
@@rockerdan well I hope February we get some cold temperatures. I just got a Quebec pass. Looks like we’ll be heading out there for weekends ride safe buddy.👍
Dan, I just sold my sled today and I've been seriously considering the 22 Mach. How do you like yours? Does it push in the corners? Steering heavy? Thank you!
I still love it. If you have the cash I would lean toward the new G5 900r. But any of the 900r sleds are really nice IMO. Especially for up north saddlebag riding, no oil to carry and these engines love that high speed running hour after hour. In hardpack my stock skis with 8" maverick center and stock on outer works really well. I don't think steering feels heavy at all but that depends what sled you are coming from. I did do the 'post forward' mod(check my videos) which IMO makes the entire steering and seating position perfect for tight twisties. Not a fan of stock post rearward design at all. Cheers!
I know last year was latest start i can recall, and now this year is even worse then last year. Becoming very hard to justify the cost of these toys with barely any winter! @@MBZtwins
Love the MachZ
Awesome! Cheers brother
We got riding up here in Maine Dan. Started weekend before last....like you, I still love my Mach!!

@rockerdan certainly been a weird winter. Hope things turn around for ya.

Looks Great! I hope the warm temps don’t ruin any of it 🤞
I hear ya, temps over the 14 day long range forecast are not looking good. Need about a week of arctic air so these lakes get safe to ride.
Looks Good Dan we were out on Cooch Sun Radar Running with my new 850 Turbo
Mild temps are killing me!
