GREAT/masterpiece remix! It EASILY sounds like the final boss theme, and the final villain is very powerful and big, and also, the battle is very hectic and a difficult struggle against ultimate evil 4:57 (and onwards) extremely epic

Granted, NIN is not the same league as Iron Maiden (I think), and Reznor might have agreed to do Quake's score because of previous iD's game - Doom, which he and his band enjoyed when they weren't busy shredding on their guitars. But still... having a renowned industrial metal artist doing a soundtrack was certainly something. And it was back in the nineties, when this was an exception rather than a norm.
