@@apexdetail85 I always used Brasso on the buttons of my police tunic as well as other britework. It always worked well for a parade gleaming, but I found the liquid could be a bit sloppy if not paying attention to how much went into the cloth.
I have always been a big fan of Mother's mag polish.. but I have been using Luhmi Amglos Polish.. It's form Poland I think.. regardless it's good stuff 👌🏻
Mr. Cartoon is west coast artist, tattoo artist, and custom car builder / enthusiast. Honestly a little surprised he partnered with TW considering how deeply entrenched he is in the low rider scene. Great video!
@@audieconrad8995 It surprises me because he is a beyond premium brand and chose to partner with a, shall we say, less than premium brand. In the lowrider world, detail is king. Everything done to a bomb is first class, almost no expense spared. Hope that answers your question.
Looks great, as usual. I would have taken some fine steel wool and cleaned the inside of the exhaust tips before polishing to remove the exhaust residue.
I have had great success with Flitz on my trucks. It also works well on hydraulic cylinder rods too. It keeps them from getting rust spots and then damaging the seals. Good video Brian this is something allot of people pass up.
Ardex makes a great metal polish I forget the name though.. on another topic I know you showcased Eastwoods salt neutralizer a few videos ago I highly recommend trying Oberks APS it’s an awesome product
Last month I picked up some Mr. Cartoon Interior & Exterior Protectant, their Tire Coat ; which you showcased about a month ago . Also bought Mr. Cartoon LVP and their Mr. Cartoon Slick Wash& Wax. You’re right Brian Turtle Wax collaborated with a well known Graffiti , Tatoo and Neighborhood MURAL artist he’s one guy and does all of that himself. Not to mention he’s been part of the Low Rider Community for years👀😤 Talk about having STREET CRED😱
It ain’t cool if your chrome don’t shine, I have a plastic chrome grill on my truck, started with a rock chip that’s now turned to a bubble, drives me nuts lol, thanks for the video my friend 👍😁
Do metal polishes have a range of abrasiveness analogous to compounds, polishes, finishing polishes, etc. for paint? Also, do the chrome painted plastics have clear coat and, if so, should they be polished like paint? Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience in another superb video!
Brian, it appears your left hand and wrist are showing good dexterity. I'm hoping the healing process is going as well as it looks. As always, a good review. Gonna hafta check out this polish - looks solid. I've been pleased with the Mr. Cartoon lineup so far. How is your winter durability assessment of the tire dressing progressing? Shine on you crazy diamond! 🚘
Great content as always Brian! Thank you. So glad I have found your channel. Have you heard of or used a product called NEVER DULL? It’s an impregnated cotton product. Smells strong! It removes rusty spots on metal & chrome without scratching.I have used it for many years and 💙 it. The cotton cleans up the metal, then you can add some wax or polish as a final protectant if you wish. Gloves are a must when using it.
Great product Brian 👑I use Adams metal polish number one and two. They seem to do the job well. There are many different products that are available these days but some are not very good. Thanks Brian ✊
Flitz and Brasso are hard to beat. What are your favorite metal polishes?
P21S polish
I’ve used Flitz my entire detail career. I figured if it ain’t broke, no need to fix it. 😁👍🏻

Big big fan of shiny metals👍🏻
Great info thanks Brian!!
The motorcycle looks great. I have a metal polish from 3M.

@DesertShineAutoSpa
Ya man thx.
I was surprised how well metal polish worked on those chrome looking plastics. I use 3D metal polish but same idea here.

I use it too

Flitz works well
Agreed.

Cool. Motorcycles = labor intensive, knuckle buster, finger smasher, bleeding.
You got it! :)
Excellent job Brian, this is the definition of detailing 😀😀

The abrasives in metal polishes are very coarse and jagged. A bit different from paint polishes.
Would you use this on OE clear coated wheels if you had to? Or just stick with regular paint polish on those?
I would stick to paint polish.
@ alright thanks, that’s what I figured as is usually the case with these. Just wanted to get another opinion.
Would this be effective on shiny black plastic trim?
I believe the abrasive would be too aggressive for that chore.

It is much better. A bit of carpal tunnel has developed. It is most noticeable trying to hold PPF or wraps.

Yes...I do remember how strong that was....stings the nostrils.
I’ve just been using polishing compound to polish tips with. I use to use metal polishes but I didn’t see any benefit.

Was there a reason you didn’t polish the PILOT or AWD emblems with this product?
A few badges are cracked and will be replaced by some found cheap on Amazon.
Gee, that must have been a pain to polish and take video at the same time. Thanks.
Nah...we love what we do. :)
