I LOVED the little bantering of the shadows we got in the alone segment - it not only made them feel more human, but gave us a better showing of how other soldiers see the 141 in general - ghost and soap esp.

The most basic one is the mere fact Riley the dog is a reference to Ghost (Simon Riley). There's also the fact the team was named 'Ghosts' because they 'rose' from the dead after pretending to die when facing an enemy and using corpses as concealment, then they counter-attacked; which is very reminiscent to Ghost's backstory from the comics. Finally the masks, which are very self explanatory.
