Umi *does* weaken machine monsters: Increases the ATK and DEF of all Fish, Sea Serpent, Thunder, and Aqua-Type monsters by 200 points. Also decreases the ATK and DEF of all Machine and Pyro-Type monsters by 200 points.
Deck ideas: 1- 10 of 40 Deck. You have to have 10 of each type. 10 Effect, 10 Normal, 10 Trap, and 10 Spell. 2- Defense is greater the Attack - All monster's have to have a defense higher then their Attack 3- Championship Deck - You must find a GOAT era National Champion Winning Deck and use it card for card. 4- Alphabet deck - You must have cards that start with a letter of the alphabet and you must include all 26 letters. So like Z could be Zombyra the dark. 5- Speed Duel - You can only use cards that appear in Speed Duel 6- Tournament deck- You can only use cards that appear in the Tournament Packs (Includes all championship packs, astral packs, etc) ANY Tournament rewarded pack.
You can only use cards that were in 3 standalone episode from original duel monsters. (So like episode 15,20, and 25.) Doesn’t have to be summoned during that episode, just has to be seen during that episode in the hand, field or graveyard.
Deck Idea: Piercing/Direct Damage Deck. A deck full of monsters who must either be able to deal piercing damage (Spear Dragon, Ancient Gear Golem, etc.) or directly attack regardless of monsters on the opponents side (Jinzo #7).
Me and my dad used to play yu gi oh together when I was younger, he had a water deck with legendary ocean. every week I would build a new deck to try an beat him. Beat him once 😂
Wow, I didn't expect machines to be that good in GOAT! This made a really fun and entertaining match for sure! And Umi deck was always solid, which made it pretty equal in power!
Is only level 5 or higher monsters an option? But can run 3 of snatch steel and creature swap. Or that one that lets you tribute opponents monsters I dont remember.
Goldy is sad now that pokerux is on hiatus LoL jkjk. I have an idea for each wheel. Wheel 1: Dark monsters and traps only. wheel 2: Animal only monsters? Wheel 3: monsters with 500 or less ATK, Continuous spells/Traps only , and 1 UR only.
Can I say unpopular opinion (maybe?) I don't like goat. I think that games are too alike and turns are too simple. Edison format, in my opinion, is much more flexible, decks are distinctive and it is still not 40+ special summons a turn. I watch this videos because of Ruxsin and other guests. I suggest that more formats should be played at least Edison maybe 2015-2017 and so on. And add them to seperate wheels.
