This band has allowed me to delve deep into my own mentality throughout my life and pushed me through thick and thin an uncountable amount of times. New seether or old, they never seize to amaze and keep people goin.
I was stoned off my ass the first time I heard this song, and I tell you it was a spiritual fucking experience. Seether forever man.
This song and 10 years “Through the iris” are two songs I’ll never forget. I was constantly in the ER, admitting me in due to my excessive heart issues. I wasn’t even 19 yet and I was living my life as a 90 year old man. Couldn’t even go to the gym without my heart flaring out of control. It was like being rapidly punched in the chest rapidly. Eventually, had to pull out of college. Couldn’t see my friends or family. Sustaining a job was a struggle. Was also dealing with the stress of an abusive relationship. The heart issue also caused aura migraines where I would lose vision and motor control, and black out for hours. I thought for sure I was gonna have a stroke eventually and end up completely losing control of my body for life. All I wanted in those moments was to live, and i desperately wanted to find a purpose, and find peace in life quickly before my health issues took over and wouldn’t have that opportunity anymore. I was living in fear for my life constantly. I had so much to do, so much to see, and I almost lost it all. I remember constantly listening to this song and through the iris to calm my nerves, both the songs lyrics related word for word what I kept thinking about, bringing me to some happy place I could imagine in my head, while I went to sleep crying.
Thankfully, it’s been years since then. My health has improved, and I have a better outlook on life. I refuse to sacrifice the blessing I’ve been given, and I will not waste my life doing what I used to. That wake up call changed my life around completely, and I strive everyday to fulfill my actual dreams, to stay away from distractions and hedonistic lifestyles, to see the places I wanted to see, to do the things I really wanted to do, to never sacrifice my health for impulse decisions, to leave behind a legacy I prayed for in that hospital. Thank you seether, your music has impacted me so much in my darkest times, and I’m sure many other fans can say the same.

I just saw Seether in concert for the first time this past September at the House of Blues in Orlando. I was so excited to see them live and honestly that was the best show I've ever seen. Seether is my favorite band. I cried happy tears when I saw them. He has so much passion and heart felt lyrics filled with emotion. I felt honored to be able to watch his live show. That will always be one of the best days of my life.

Yes!! That song has special meaning for me that really helped pull me out of a deep depression after I lost my mom. She knew how much I love Seether and that song has a verse that she used to say to me. I cried happy tears for the first time in a year. I’ll take it as my sign from her that she’s ok.

As I read the comments for Seether I couldn't agree more with those that have such a positive experience to a particular song. Listening to their lyrics, than you add the music we all can experience a different thought or feeling that we can only relate to ourselves and as probably one of an older listener I can't think of another band that has pulled me in as Seether has. the music and the lyrics do have meaning and significance to them as a band as well as a listener that may have struggled or dealt with something particular that the words convey. There's just not many bands out there today, that can provoke such ....Seether is just unique in their own right! Thank you for sharing your music. There's more to say, but I think you get the picture
