Honestly, though, the time of day during the credits probably couldn't have been more perfect if they tried. The day just starting to wane during the Peach scene, the sunset views of all of the levels, leading into night, then finally the sun rising on a new day at the very end with Peach and the Amalgamario outside the castle. The Mario 64 credits are always a bit of a tearjerker, even to someone who never grew up with the game, but that rendition was so beautiful it made me cry like a baby. So buteyful.

A Hat in Time has massive 50 player co-op and it plays very similarly to Banjo Kazooie / Mario Sunshine and similar collectathons. It works pretty great for a unique experience. Good to play with friends but not super compelling to revisit or play with randoms.

It had a level editor where you could stick the CPU in utterly unfair conditions, which as a teen, I of course took full advantage of. The voice samples were bizarre, but the music was kind of amazing. You should definitely give it a quick spin, just to experience the many gruesome death animations.
2:30:45 I have tinnitus and my ear doctor told me your brain creates it because it thinks there should be a sound in this certain hearing range thats had some damage done to it (like from listening to loud music alot for instance) so it artificially creates it and theres no way really to tell your brain that theres no sound playing in that hearing range its just damaged a bit. Hope this message gets to you. It can really relieve the stress and anxiety of having a medical issue you don't understand.
Vinny, I don’t know much about Tinnitus but I know it usually affects people who wear headphones. My dad was on Submarines for 20+ years and used headphones for his job. He also got tinnitus. I have recently heard good things about cricket sounds at a certain decibel for easing tinnitus symptoms. I believe there are a couple highly recommended videos on UA-cam with them. Good Luck.
So for me I don't notice my tinnitus through the day so much but when I sleep it's bad I use a metal fan which helps a lot mine is from improper hearing protection at a shooting range. Basically my ear muffs fell off from me sweating. Always double up if you can like ear plugs and muffs. Don't use the plugs with a cord they tend to snag.
Holy shit that bubble is the most fun multiplayer respawn time I've ever seen. It's actively enjoyable. It took someone modding one of the first 3D games with multiplayer functions to make possibly the first fun respawn screen. What a lack of humanity.
I mean... it's been the way it works in 2D Mario games since the Wii ones as far as I remember (dunno about the newest ones), though this one seems to allow much more freedom of movement. Still clever on their part for adapting it, but they didn't come up with it.

My brother and I played Tak & The Great Juju Challenge when we were little and I'd always spend so much time exploring the levels and looking out at the skybox, seeing how nice or cool it all looked

OH I JUST GOT A GOOD IDEA FOR A GAME MODE!!! A star catch game where each person has a set amount of stars to get and you can't go over and under, possible mod to force the stars to be unable to be gotten after meeting quota. Whoever meets their individual quota first will will, but you have to wait for everyone to finish and you all are still working together in order to beat the game Cooperatively! Similar to other mario games with points, but this time it is star quotas. You can steal other's stars they worked towards so they waste their time, etc. A competition while still working together like how later games have handled multiplayer!
Just wanna say real quick, the easiest way to get the eel out of the ship (without speedrunning) is to go into the underground cave tunnel, immediately he'll swim out. Works everytime. I have an N64 not just the switch or mobile64 ports. It works on the og console. Try it out sometime 😊

I am autistic, and I do soooo much better with structure and direction, and I do NOT do well all all with big/open-world/non-linear games. It is just really overwhelming and confusing for me!

For example, it took me 5 YEARS to finish Breath of the Wild, because it was so overwhelming and huge like that and I had to take it extremely slowly and explore in veeery small chunks at a time (and sometimes I would just feel so overwhelmed that I had to take a break from the game for a while). So I am honestly kinda scared to play Tears of the Kingdom and I don't like this open-world-non-linear direction Zelda seems to be going in...
If only Nintendo had the same budget as these fan made games, imagine what they could give their fans instead of having to release shitty rom clones with no improvement for $50 just to afford instant ramen.
