I recommend! I'm a person w. a physical impairment, & w. COVID meaning that my local shopping centre had removed all the rest islands I rely on to get through doing my shopping, it only took one very public collapse for me to realise I needed a new plan. I got one of these, clipped it on to the strap of my satchel with a small carabiner, & now I have a seat whenever I need one! It's especially great in queues. ❤❤❤
Great thinking, Mystery LovesCompany, it must be difficult for you with all your regular rest spots being removed. I'm glad you've found some comfort in the Helinox chair. ~ Ben
@@SnowysOutdoors yeah, thanks, Ben, it's been even more of a trial for us folk who need those amenities than it is for everyone in general, & I know that's saying a lot. Though the uptick in stores offering delivery in response to the situation has been a real boon for us, too, so I guess it sort of balances out. (Also, quick free delivery from Snowys has certainly made _my_ confinement a lot more enjoyable [...er, if not especially frugal], and given me things to look forward to; roll on the return of camping season! 😍😍😍)
Just ordered one. they're super cheap now thanks to the Chair Zero. I'm traveling by bike, so the little extra weight is ok. I've wanted one for several years and prices are right.
Either option is fine - the Chair One XL is more or a car camping/lounging chair, the Chair One is a compact option for when size/weight is a consideration. ~ Lauren
I'm not sure what you mean by 'model 0' sorry, Muhammad, but you can safely assume that all the Helinox chairs are just as durable as each other. ~ Ben
Given the size they pack down to, I think they are relaxing. You can't kick back quite like you can is a massive camp chair, but there needs to be some trade offs. ~ Ben
Hi, have you ever tried to stick in at top first and after that stick in the bottem, will be much easier and you don´t need a workout for your muscles ;-) !!! Regards Rob
There's not much difference, Rob, the tension is the same no matter which way round you do it. Your method is relevant to the larger camp chairs in the Helinox range though, as the pole sleeves in the chair back are longer and need to be placed before the bottom ones. ~ Ben
That is disappointing @Anne Denton, it can require abit of effort, but I would have bet my bottom dollar that anyone could do it. Is there anyone else that could give it a go for you? Might just be a matter of the first few times whilst everything stretches out. ~ Lauren
@@SnowysOutdoors Yes, it's very difficult. I finally got mine on the last pole, but it was a workout for my arms. I am sitting in the chair hoping that it stretches the fabric so when I disassemble it, it will be easier next time to open it. I can't go through this too many times.
Wow the photos on the helinox site really made it look a lot smaller when stored. Still for a decent supported chair it's pretty compact.
Thanks for your feedback @KishaScape, which site are you on? Just jumped onto their AUS page and all looks good?
~ Lauren
Just had this delivered today as I’m planning to use it for Moto camping. Pretty brilliant design. A bit pricey but still pretty happy with it!
You'll love your Helinox chair, MT-09NZ, I own two and have long forgotten the price I paid. ~ Ben

Fantastic review, well done! I'm buying one

I have a Helinox chair or my camp set up, Roger, and love it. I hope you are as happy with yours as I am with miine. ~ Ben
@@SnowysOutdoors - just discovered they make a cupholder. Woo hoo!
bike touring du du du
You made that last hook in look easy. I guess I need some new muscles.
The last one can be firm, especially when new. It needs to be though in order to keep the sling in place. ~ Ben
Looks great! Thanks for sharing! :)
You're welcome, Jan. ~ Ben
Cool. 👍🏾👨🏾💼 I might get one, and put in to my backpack.
Do it, Justice, Helinox chairs are awesome! ~ Ben
My gf is 5’3 , 140 pounds . Do u recommend I buy her the regular chair 1 or the chair 1 XL? Thanks in advance !

What's different about this one to the cheap Aldi knock off please? Does it have stronger cups on the sling where the poles go in?
I'm not familiar with the Aldi chair sorry, Paul, but it's likely that it's not made to the same spec. I can't say this for sure though. ~ Ben
which 1 is more robust compared to model 0?

The Chair One is stronger than the Chair Zero holds you a little bit higher off the ground too.

I just bought one and I CANNOT get the pole into the last socket. SSOOO disappointing!
