Hello thank you for your video I have a question about the ministry that I have it was not started with the church it was something I started on my own as the Lord led me and it's continue blessing me... in the ministry I have I bring forth the gospel as well as have fundraising campaigns 2 provide funds for the Bible Ministry that is incorporated in what I do as well as making products and using them as fundraisers I do not keep any money I thought it would be a fundraiser I'm not sure if that fell under a non-profit being that I do not take any income all friends that I receive for this ministry goes directly to the fundraiser campaign that has been started I was wondering do I need to have a tax exempt number for the ministry that I have

Holding a fundraiser does not dictate whether it is a for or nonprofit. How you set up your business is what determines that. If you set your business up as a nonprofit with the IRS you should have paperwork that identifies you as a nonprofit.

Becoming a Section 501(c)(3) is totally voluntary. Why any religious organization would volunteer to place itself under the thumb of a corrupt corporation acting as the government is beyond my ability to comprehend. A church that goes that path ends up with priests and ministers who are worshipping the dollar over trusting their Creator at the expense of their congregation. Government has no authority over religion.
