I've built this, finished last Friday. Superb just a few issues with parts that aren't featured in the instructions but you do see in the diagrams. Did have a couple of parts leftover that I couldn't find a home for, would definitely build another one and have every intention to.

@@KitchenTableModeller Yes great kit, did the C-HET with the M747 and Talbert trailers last year. Problem with the first issue of the Talbert trailer version as well, that had wrong sprues included. I do like a tank transporter
I also noted that the 911 tractor unit is missing hydrolic lines from the winch motors, the Meng version modelled this part correctly, though nothing a little scratch building can’t fix👍
Have you had a look at the pipe that goes straight from the air intakes to feeding the exhausts, bypassing the nonexistant engine completely! Am gonna try doing a cosmetic engine side so that the gap between the chassis & cab won't be so noticeable.
I was hoping an aftermarket company would bring out an engine and gearbox detail set for this kit, though scratch building a mock-up to fill the gap is also a good idea, definitely something to consider👍👍
Is this out in the UK yet? It's been held up so much it was ment to be out end January but I'm still waiting for it! I got the border kodiak from China in 10 days just amazing delivery shop I found, well my friend from the US found it but a week to get to him and 10 days to me! That's brilliant so might need order one from there if my usual places here are still pre order! I have the AA one but it's not something that's as fun as a normal kit!
I picked this one up from Jadlam toys and models, their price was very competitive and the kit was delivered in about 3 days from ordering which is good for where I live in the UK.
Getting to the final stages of this kit, got suzzies n stuff to make (sooooo much easier to build than the 1070 ) I just have to decide what cargo. AS-90, Chieftain or early chally, also got the cold war era tie downs. Would I be right to place the MBTs forward (barrel in cradle) and the As 90 facing forward (Barrel over 5th wheel)
Brilliant progress on this kit and a fantastic shout about having an AS-90 as the load, I didn’t think of this but so glad you mentioned it, this will make a fantastic display piece. With regards stowing the AS-90 on the trailer I think your spot on in that it is driven forward on with the barrel over the 5th wheel as apposed to MBT’s being driven forward with the turret rearward and barrel locked. There are a couple of decent images on the net of an AS-90 loaded, I searched by typing “AS90 on scammell commander”. 👍👍

@@KitchenTableModeller I had that at one time but then I sold everything off. Have a habit of packing in then starting again.
